June and Roy are warm and friendly people and very welcoming. The room and private bathroom are immaculate - and the house was very warm - despite there being the first and heaviest frost of the year! Found the place easily with (website hidden)maps navigation and it was very nice and quiet neighbourhood. Very convenient location for Cheltenham and Gloucester - and for my onward journey to Hereford.
Would whole heartedly recommend June's place and it is such incredibly good value!
Great room, off street parking, no pets, great breakfast, quiet at night and welcoming hosts - would recommend and stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay with June and Roy. The house is lovely, warm and clean in a quiet area. Private bathroom and own tv are a bonus. I would definitely stay again.
It was lovely to meet June, I was welcomed warmly and had a comfortable nights stay. I would highly recommend her.
I was made to feel very welcome by June and Roy.
Their house is immaculate, the bedroom very clean and the bathroom, solely for my use, was pristine.
Genuinley nice people; recommended.
June and Roy were excellent hosts; very friendly, happy to offer advice and always helpful. We stayed for 5 nights and felt very much at home and very well taken care of. The room was quite small but had everything we needed, plus a private bathroom and a very generous breakfast provided every morning. The house is in a good location with a nearby supermarket and pub, and a good place to explore the surrounding region. We would love to come back one day :)
June and Roy were great hosts and they spared no efforts to make us feel welcomed even though June was unfortunately ill. The house was very nice, big and clean, as it was the room. We would definitely repeat the experience. We even had the pleasure of learning some new English expressions from Roy :)
Retired. 'Mum' to two very grown up kids and long time married to Roy who is my soul mate. Love travelling, like Spain, the USA (have toured a lot here but liked New York, Baltimore, the Carolinas, Palm Springs and Scottsdale) and Canada.
Enjoyed the 3 cruises we have done but would not say I actually have the 'cruise bug' but did have fun in the Carribean and latterly we ventured to Norway, The Faroes, Shetlands, Iceland and Greenland before going on to Nova Scotia and New York. I enjoy dancing (ballroom, latin and sequence) visiting the theatre, musicals to plays, would love to see the Jersey Boys, one day! I like reading but I read mainly from books, anything from Phillipa Gregory to Dan Brown, have not got used to automatically picking up the tablet to read, but I do use the computer to stay in touch and search and book holidays. I like many forms of music including Country and Classical, but I do like people of old like Spandau Ballet and Simply Red and Russell Watson although I like country do not have a personal favourite but enjoyed the TV series 'Nashville'. All in all I think I am a friendly person hailing from County Durham in the north-east of England, talk too much as my husband would say, polite and generous and respect other people's wishes and property.
