  • Sweet rustic cabin right off of south lake Tahoe.

The cabin was hooked up with everything; two real neat bathrooms(heated floor tile), with a nice two person jacuzzi, heated floors, hooked up kitchen, grill, and comfy beds. It also had the whole entertainment situation connected, i.e. tv, cable, sound system, etc..

We really enjoyed this cabin, and thus enjoyed our stay in Lake Tahoe.

    Thank you Vadim!

  • This was a perfect retreat for me, guys! Thank you so much!
I was willing to escape from the noise of a city for a long time and your wonderful cabin was an ideal choice.
We had everything we needed: a comfort, quietness and all amenities at the top notch level. Also the cabin is perfectly located in a short walk from the lake and shops at the Heavenly Village. Having a movie theater nearby was a big plus too! We look forward to our next trip during winter and will certainly book this cabin again!

  • The cabin is really lovely with meticulous attention to detail. For an adult couple, it is a great selection. The appliances are top of the line, the cabin was very clean, and well maintained.

Unfortunately, it is in a neighborhood which is less than lovely. When you think of Tahoe you do not really think about the necessary blue collar service communities that support the resorts and casinos, but this cabin is right in the middle of the barrio. There are project homes in all directions, junked cards in neighboring yards, and a distinct sense of trailer park culture. My wife kicked me for not checking the street views all around on (website hidden) before booking the place.

When we arrived there was a drunken white trash bash happening next door with thumping music, all kinds of beer and tattoos around. Then the neighbor across the street, obviously not a fan of the gangsta rap music, started a little stereo war with classic rock.

Since I was traveling with my wife and young daughter and going into NV for business during the days, I did not have a great sense of security for them.

It was safe enough in the end, but this is not a family vacation spot.

  • We had a blast! I reserved this cabin for my girlfriends 24th birthday and we couldn't have had a more pleasant stay at Vadim's cabin. First off, Vadim was incredibly transparent and easy going with regard to getting reservation specifics, he's most certainly a professional. The cabin was "move-in-ready", having all the utensils and amenities expected in a cabin ready to entertain. Only a 10-15 minute walk to most South Lake Tahoe attractions; my friends and I will definitely be considering Vadim's cabin for future stays during both winter and summer excursions.

  • The cabin was great. The fireplace inside was awesome and the wood outside was a nice touch. The place is really close to heavenly, within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Would have given 5-stars, but the Jacuzzi upstairs was not in operation. Also, does a jacuzzi = hot tub?

  • After doing some searching around we decided on Vadim's Knotty Pine Cabin as the place to stay for our first joint family vacation. We booked this place for a week to sleep 6 people, both of us plus our parents. This place easily fit us all, with two bedrooms upstairs, a sofa bed downstairs, and bathrooms on both floors. The cabin had a great balance between modern sophistication and feeling rustic. The interior looks as though it was just recently renovated; the kitchen and bathrooms were gorgeous. This cabin has a lot to offer, most importantly to us, there was wifi available! There's also a great BBQ in the backyard, a nice deck out front with clean wooden lounge chairs provided, a large flat panel TV with cable, and a huge whirlpool tub with jets. You can't beat the location, it's a super short walk to downtown and to the beach.

This was one of the nicest cabins I've stayed at in Tahoe, and the transaction was really positive. I definitely recommend this place to anyone considering it, and would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arose. We really enjoyed our stay here, thanks Vadim for a great experience!

  • Knotty pine cabin is in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The cabin design was perfect for the space. My friends and I enjoyed the kitchen and BBQ. Both bathrooms are nice too. Clean and quiet. Thanks, Vadim! Now we have a good place to stay in South Lake!

Hey there! I love travel but not being a tourist. I surf and my travel destinations are heavily influenced by the location of the best surf spots around the world. While traveling I experience places the way locals do. It gives me a very different perspective on things. It helps to absorb local customs, culture, languages and little nuances that no tourist will notice from an open air bus deck. Having being to 40+ countries I tend to stay longer in places I loved the most: New York, Paris, San Francisco, Biarritz, Buenos Aires, Kauai, Dominical (Costa Rica), Moscow. AirBnB is a perfect tool to help me find those places to stay in and share those of my own. The most incredible part is to have four amazing women supporting me on this journey - my mom, my sister, my wife and my little daughter (in order of appearance:)). I am a lucky man and happy to share this with you!
