What a lovely place to stay!
The room was clean, comfortable and lots of attention to detail with fresh flowers, selection of bathroom products, kettle / cups / fresh milk in the morning. Oh and Julia cooked up a lovely, full English breakfast too which set us up for the whole day.
David and Julia were very attentive hosts and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and went the extra mile to make sure of this.
About the Host, David
David originally trained as a hotel manager and worked in hotels and restaurants, then in business before moving up to Cumbria from the London area. He enjoys country pursuits and encourages others to enjoy the walks and scenery both in the Eden Valley and on the Pennines in Cumbria. David is also a keen amateur musician - he plays the piano and church organ, and sings in locals choirs. He likes to walk the 2 sheepdogs on the adjoining working farm.
