We arrived at a Saturday evening late. Our hostess welcomed us very friendly, showed us around in the house and surprised us with a welcome drink (wine). The location is beautiful with a view on the harbour and sea. It's near the boulevard and great restaurants. The city Castellammare is a good starting point to visit beaches, temples and cities in the west part of Sicily. I very much recommend this apartment.

Great place to stay. The apartment is really charming and very close to the beach and the city centre. We had an amazing stay here! And Angela's mother was kind enough to pick us up from the bus station and tell us a few places where we could get some great food. Highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely time staying here. It is a charming little apartment with everything you need. It made a great base for us while exploring the north west of the island. It really is in the centre of town with shops and bars just minutes away. It's not on a main road though so it's nice and quiet at night. We found sleeping on the mezzanine level to be quiet hot in early September but we did get used to it so it wasn't really a problem. I'm not sure what it would be like in peak season though.... Our host was really friendly on arrival and very flexible about our arrival time, thank you for that. We had no problems throughout our 7nights here. Sicily is a beautiful country, and everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. And excellent stay, we loved it!

If you are planning to visit Sicily’s western coast, then Castellammare del Golfo and Margrittes the place to stay. The location is perfect as it is close to the lovely beaches of Scopello and Castellammare. Supermarkets, butchers, bakers etc. is easy to get too, while you can park your car right by the house. The apartment is cozy, functional and with a wonderful terrace. The view speaks for itself. If you look to one side an idyllic typical Italian street with the mountains in the background appear, if you look to the other side is an overlook of the harbour. The city itself is cozy and not so touristy. We got an warm welcome from Angela and her mother Alice – they even stood on the the street and saved us a parking spot. The warmest recommendations from here.
