Luisella is a total STAR - a really lovely person, helped me from the bus stop even though I got lost. Knew everything I needed to know. I genuinely felt like someone was there for me on my first time in Turin and in fact first time in Italy. The apartment is immaculate. Everything works. The view across the city is breathtaking and P/Emanuele Filiberto is easy to reach and full of great bars/cafés and it was superb being close to the market. If I do another solo visit, I'll be checking the dates here first. I can't speak highly enough of Luisella or the apartment.

I love this place and I will love to be able to stay again the next time I'm in town. First of all Luisella is a very nice person, always willing to help and chat. When I arrived everything was clean and organized, I even had tea and water waiting for me as well as brochures and city books! The room is lovely, comfy and all you need to enjoy your stay, and a beautiful extra point is the beautiful view. Also I was travelling alone and I felt good there, the people around was nice. Also the area has restaurants and cafés and it's close to downtown and sightseeing areas but it is not noisy. I really liked this place and Luisella and highly recommend it!

A perfect spot and a perfect host! Luisella’s apartment is modern, very clean, and in an amazing location. We were able to walk everywhere easily, and also really enjoyed the many cafes and shops in the immediate area. The apartment is very cozy, with a comfortable bed and everything you need to feel at home. We stayed with our two-year-old son, and Luisella arranged many extra things in anticipation of our arrival - a high-chair, fun toys for him to play with, extra blankets - she was truly an excellent host and made us feel very welcome! There were maps and guide books at the apartment as well, which was a nice bonus. There is also a lift, making it really easy to use the apartment as a home base even with our stroller and bags - the amazing view from the apartment would be worth climbing the stairs for, but it sure was nice to use the lift with our son and his stroller. Thank you Luisella for an amazing stay!

Luisella’s apartment is conveniently located in perhaps the best part of Turin, everything is within walking distance and the piazza in front of the apartment is one of the liveliest areas of the city during the evening. The area is in fact very famous for the ‘apertitivo’ with plenty of restaurants to choose from and (in our opinion) amazing gelato. Communication with Luisella was good and she answered all our questions prior to our arrival. Luisella’s directions were spot on so we encountered no problems in finding the apartment. The apartment is situated on the 5th floor of a historic apartment block full of Italian charm and a beautiful view over the hills and the Superga chapel. There is a small lift so it’s easy to reach your room after a day of sightseeing. Luisella greeted us very warmly, she offered us some water, invited us to sit down for a chat and gave us all sorts of tips about the city, where to go, restaurant recommendations and convenient transport connections. The room is tastefully decorated with modern furniture, it was comfortable and spotless clean with great attention to detail. It is spacious with a comfortable double bed (two single beds connected). There is a large wardrobe, a tv with DVD player, a table and a small kitchenette with all the basic necessities including coffee, tea and sugar. The bathroom is equipped with a shower with warm water always readily available and Luisella gave us soap and towels as well. Since it was summer, Luisella also provided us with a fan to make our stay more comfortable. The room is totally independent and has a private entrance so it can be classified as a whole apartment. Luisella was perhaps the best part of this AirBnb experience, she is such a kind hearted person that cares a lot about her guests. On our arrival she gave us milk and fresh peaches. She checked on us regularly to see if we needed clean towels and also shared with us some of her favourite music collections so we could have a listen to Jovanotti! She invited us out for breakfast at her favourite café, showed us around the flea market and invited us over to her house for some coffee. We also met her at a café and had a nice chat with some of her friends. We only wished we had more time to spend with her. Luisella is truly an example of what AirBnb is all about, she is an exceptional host! We can’t recommend Luisella’s apartment enough and we hope to have the opportunity to meet Luisella again. Veramente, grazie di tutto!

Staying at Luisella's monolocale was a great pleasure. The room has got everything you need and it's nice, cozy and impeccably clean. It's a quiet place as well, as it looks out on the internal court yard, so no traffic noise. Stepping out of the door every morning was a pleasure because of the splendid view over the rooftops on to basilica of Superga on the hill side. Luisella is a great host, she provided me with a lot of tips and practical information and she is a very pleasurable person. I really enjoyed staying in Turin. The city has a lot to offer in terms of beautiful palazzi, museums, parks, and shopping, without the chaos of other Italian cities. It's a city to discover, the Torinese are very kind and helpful and the food over here is just great! It seemed to me you just can't go wrong on any restaurant or pizzeria/focacceria. Don't forget to take an icecream at Mondello, just a few steps away on piazza Emanuele Filiberto. It's one of the best, if not the best in town! Thanks Luisella for your hospitality!

Staying with Luisella was a wonderful experience for my husband and me. The room itself was great - about the size of an hotel room, with a fully equipped kitchenette and a spacious bathroom. The room is done well, with nice flooring, decorations, and furniture. There is a large wardrobe for your clothes, and a small refrigerator, which is perfect if you're staying longer than a couple days. The room was spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated. The room is located on the 5th floor and off of a small balcony that offers a great view of the city. You can open up the double doors leading into the apartment and enjoy the city lights at night. There are essentially two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a double bed, and both were comfortable. The room is located right next to Italy's largest outdoor market, which is held most days of the week. On Saturdays there is also a flea market. Right downstairs, there is a place where you can buy gelato, several little cafes, and a decent-sized grocery store. The room is also within 5 minutes' walking distance from public transport. You can get into the very center of the city within 10 minutes' walking. Luisella herself was a great host. She was very hospitable and friendly. She collected several brochures, city maps and other information for us to use in helping navigate and explore the city, and gave us suggestions for places to eat and go see. She checked in with us and made sure we were comfortable. Before we arrived, she responded thoroughly to my questions about the room, transportation, etc. Her English is good, which is very helpful for international guests. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - it's much nicer than staying in an impersonal hotel, but has similiar amenities and comfort. Thank you, Luisella!
