Our 1890's House has been totally renovated with today's comfortable conveniences. The outside though, is a work in progress! The location is what we're most proud! Located within walking distance from center of Historic downtown Staunton. Just walk across Staunton's famous Sears Hill Bridge and you're home.
The house is built on a steep hill (like so many in hilly Staunton). There are 17 steps up to the front porch, making for a beautiful view of our downtown & residential historic district.

What a lovely and welcoming home! Jane is very cordial and accommodating. The footbridge to downtown Stauton was just a short walk down the hill. We had a blast exploring the town and all the history. We also enjoyed the neat shops and restaurants.

From the fresh fruit and coffee to the cozy bedrooms and gorgeous kitchen, my friends and I felt so at home here. It was a chilly weekend but the house was warm, and we loved the feeling of being nestled away (with beautiful views of the fall foliage). The walk downtown is quick …

The house was lovely, just as described, centrally located, and easily walkable to downtown. Jane was a great host and left us with fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, and even goldfish for the kids. We had a great stay and would definitely come back!
