I originally booked a stay here for a month for work, and ended up staying almost 3 and a half. Close to a lot of restaurants, and the Bedford stop of the L train. Good size space and great location for the price. The host Meg was great to work with. Will stay here again next tim…

It has been a very nice stay, so nice I extended again for another month. I didn't realize there is a 5G internet connection, so after logging in to that access point, the internet is much faster and more stable. Will stay again for future work trips to Williamsburg.

Close to the place I'm working at. Even when its snowing, it's only an 8 minute walk to get to my job. Pretty quiet area on Berry, a few loud people walk by once in awhile but i'm up late anyways so doesn't bother me. The internet connection can be a little iffy at night while wa…

The building was undergoing construction and i was not notified before hand. The front steps to access the building was unaccessible and we had to go in through the basement, two floors up walking on a cracke steps. The a/c unit is not enough to cool the place. There was no hot w…

Response from Meg:
Hello, we do apologize for the construction outside, the building was undergoing exterior renovations. Fernanda actually never stayed at the apt, she reserved it for family members which I was also not aware of. They arrived a day early and several hours before check in time, she was supposed to have changes the reservation but never did so she had a free night. We are also unsure of who and how many people were staying at the apt 3-4? THe day they arrived I installed a new 375$ ac unit which they had difficulty operating and had the AC running with all the windows open as well as removing the storm windows and leaving them on the floor when my friend , another air Bnb host arrived to fix the problem. There was not problem with the ac unit in the end they were just having a problem operating it. None of the guests had a working cell ph to reach them so we were communicating with her brother , who was a bit aggressive on the ph. There was trash in the garbage , it Was a plastic wrapper and a few paper towels , I had forgotten to take it down. Didn't think it would have been offensive since it wasn't full with any perishable items. The guest also moved artwork off the walls and several things in the apt. There was a flood in the bathroom, we sent over our plumber and we are still not clear how that happened because everything has been fine since . Our building is old and not perfect but that's what you should understand when your accomadtons are under 200$ per night for several people to stay in NYC. If hosting Fernanda, I'd just clarify with her who and when they will be staying and not recommend if your place is quirky , they would seem to be happier in a luxury condo type of property

Perfect location, close to the L-line and in the heart of Wilhelmsburg. The flat was great for our needs and the wifi speed was awesome. Meg was very flexible with check-in/out times and very helpful. I can strongly recommend a stay here.

Lovely bright spacious apartment, handy check-in and check-out, brilliant area, so many places to eat and drink nearby and one block from Bedford station, giving easy access to Manhattan and other subway lines.

Great place and a pleasure to stay at. Super central location with plenty of restaurants, night life and interesting places nearby. One stop to Manhattan and not much more to Union Square which links to a lot of subway lines. Host was really accomodating with any request.
