The Space

The villa lies at Capo Taormina opposite the island of Isola Bella, which together with its wonderful gulf makes it one of the most beautiful places in the whole of Sicily. With its intact, wild beauty - despite the influence of civilisation - protected by the WWF and recently declared a nature reserve, Isola Bella is a magical place, not to be missed, and can be reached on foot when the tide is out. The beach is about 400 metres from the villa, and you can hire sunshades and deckchairs when you get there. Pirandello is an old saracen lookout tower, used in the past to watch for the invaders. It is furnished with sicilian-style furniture and has air-conditioning in the bedrooms. From the large, furnished terrace, where you can dine outside, you can enjoy a panorama of extraordinary beauty. It has two entrances, and the structure is on several levels. About 200 metres away is the cable-car station, which in just a few minutes takes you to the centre of Taormina, so you can avoid the problem of parking your car in the centre, which is usually difficult. Taormina has had many famous guests: such as Goethe, Maupassant, D.H.Lawrence, A. France, Oscar Wilde, Brahms, fashion designers such as Dior, famous nobles such as Florence Trevelyan and has been chosen as the backdrop for their films by many film directors. On request you may book the services of a chef, airport transfers and private sightseeing trips. Along the road that winds along the coast to Mazzarò you will find many excellent restaurants. • Very clean and a nice space. Easy drive to the plaza. Overall, a very convenient place to stay in Sonoma.

  • We had a few issues with the woman overseeing the apartment from slow response time to claiming we paid partially and now owe additional funds. All eventually got sorted out and we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautiful and well located. It's a shame we felt uncomfortable with how we were treated.

  • We loved staying at Mark & Bonnie's place in Sonoma. Everything was great and perfectly located for our needs. Fall in Sonoma is beautiful in it's own right, but this quiet getaway allowed us to enjoy it even more.

  • Great location as a home base for wine country excursions. Near the Historic Sonoma Town Square by way of the town's paved walking path - perfect spot to enjoy good restaurants, scenic hiking, local wineries and cycling. Just a few miles from the Russian River so kayaking is an easy option as well. Gateway to the Sonoma Valley, short drive up to the Alexander Valley, Napa Valley and Carneros Wine Region. Your own 1 bedroom place, with a furnished kitchen, wi-fi, a designated parking spot and a private back patio perfect for starting the day with your morning coffee. It looks just like the pictures!

  • Our stay at Rialto was brilliant from beginning to end. We especially appreciated Judit assistance in meeting us to hand over the keys she went much further than required and gave us lots of advice on our stay and how best to get back to the airport. This was fantastic as we had no idea without this advice .The accommodation was ,clean comfortable and centrally located. We felt secure and had easy access to market Rialto bridge and short walk to San Marco square. the apartment was attractive with plenty of bedding and towels ..The washing machine and dishwasher were a bonus. The apartment was large, spacious attractively decorated and made our visit to this beautiful location all the more enjoyable. We thank Judit Mark and Bonnie for such great stay in Venice
