We are a family of 4; 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 11 yrs).
We moved to our lovely home in late 2015 as we fell in love with the garden and of course the amazing swimming pool! The children are outdoor kids and love nothing more than playing in their area of the garden or the local woods rather than being cooped up inside.
Whilst we are not very green fingered, we are enjoying working in the garden although it sometimes feels that the weeds win the battle! We have planted the vegetable beds and looking forward to eating the potatoes, carrots and fruit over the coming months.
Bubwith nestles on the boundaries of North Yorkshire and East Riding and we enjoy the many wonderful country walks just outside the front door. We have a wonderful local pub about a 10 minute walk away that does lovely food (we use it regularly) and a local deli that does amazing sarnies and cakes! The local shop is open long hours for when I forget to buy the vital ingredient for our family dinner and the award winning butchers has yummy pies and fresh meat.
We enjoy travel and have had some wonderful family holidays ranging from Wales to Canada! We are all scenery junkies and holidays are the best time that we all get to spend together without the pressures of work!
We have been providing holiday lettings at Willow Lodge since the beginning of 2016 and I, personally, really enjoy meeting our guests and ensuring that everyone has a wonderful stay.
