Mario es una persona calida y amable, estar en Florencia fue muy placentero y disfrutamos de las comodidades del bnb, cercano al centro historico y con buenos servicios alrededor.
Loved the place. Convenient location. Cute little kitchen. Only thing didn't like was flat pillows but that seems to be Italian thing.
This is an actual hotel/B&B (no breakfast) rather than an Airbnb, which we knew when we booked this. The place is very clean, and the kitchen was great with the basics to cook with (olive oil, seasonings), as well as a charming courtyard with an orange tree which we actually ate from. The room itself was very basic and clean, however don't stay here if you're a light sleeper as the noise from outside kept my husband up most of the nights. The place takes about 30 min to walk from the center of Florence which is not difficult, however not ideal after a full day of sightseeing and walking. Fortunately we were able to use the two bikes provided for guests to get to and from the city center, however they were old and one of them actually broke while riding. Hopefully it'll be fixed for future guests. Overall, it was a good stay for the price.
I met Mario at the guest house and we hit it off right away. The room was quite large and there were two bathrooms shared by other guests of whom I rarely saw. The courtyard in the back had an orange tree with a cute table and chairs under it where I had my meals and chatted with Mario. The kitchen was both fully equipped and clean. The only issue I had was the street noise, however, I am no stranger to travel so I never leave home without my earplugs. Problem solved. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Perfect for an economical stay in Florence. Close to everything by bus and ok if you are up for a little longer walk. The only drawback would be that the front room faces a busy street. Earplugs would improve your sleep.
Mario and Dominico were wonderful and very friendly hosts. Their hospitality struck us as very professional and we felt very taken care of. Upon arrival, Mario immediately gave us tips and advice on where to go. He even helped to carry our luggage up the stairs to our room.
Both Mario and Domenico speak good English and are always present in the Kitchen to offer any help. We have very good chats with Mario :) They warmth made us feel very much welcomed and at home.
The guest house was very clean and well-furnished. It is very well-located, very near the city centre, near the train station and near a huge supermarket. The facilities were great (we loved the coffee machine) and always available for our use. The room was well-decorated, with bright cheery beds. Though it's a guest house, it emanates a homely vibe. There is even a television in the room though the channels were in Italian.
We will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Mario and Domenico! :)
This was a nice little B&B space. We didn't have much contact with the hosts, but they did give me a map when I arrived which was super helpful. The courtyard with the orange tree was really sweet, and the room and bathroom were totally adequate. The only problem for me was that the hallway (though not the room) smelled intermittently smelled of cigarette smoke.
Clean and pretty, but street noise throughout the night. A decent walk (about 30 minutes) from main sites (El Duomo, Uffizi, etc.) Friendly and helpful hosts.
Nice little BnB a short walk from the sights in Florence or a short bus ride if you don't want to walk. The kitchen was small but functional and the host was great. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
