About This Listing
This apartment is independent, You will not be sharing if with anyone.
It is easier and faster to commute into the City from Union City than commuting from Brooklyn or Queens.
If you were to stay in the Bronx it would take you 40 min to get to Times Square. If you were to Stay in Brooklyn it would take you the same amount of time as subways in Brooklyn are not direct. If you were to stay in Manhattan you would not find a place as big as this one for this price.
The apartment is located in a safe neighborhood, close to shopping and restaurant area.
The apartment is located within a 3-min walk to a bus stop the bus will take you to Times Square district in approximately 15 minutes (Important: Bus to Times Square costs $3 each way and bus tickets cannot be used for subway) NJ transit bus tickets cost $27 for 10 one way tickets. The bus will take you to Port Authority 42nd St subway station (lines A, C, E). This station is a central subway hub and you can easily walk to lines 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q and R. (Important: Subway tickets cost $2.5 per ride but you can buy 7-days unlimited pass at $29).
I do not recommend buying the unlimited pass as Port Authority is central and you can walk to all major tourist attractions.
It is like an independent house located in the back of a garden.
The apartment is a duplex with living room and bathroom on main floor and bedroom on 2nd floor, First floor has a double sofa bed
The apartment is near restaurants and shopping center.
Parking is street parking. Parking permit will be provided. You are still subject to parking regulations.
This apartment does not have a kitchen.
This rental is for you to enjoy and relax. Please be respectful of your neighbors, we do not allow loud music or guest getting drunk and loud.
Really nice place on a quiet latin neighborhood. I recommend having breakfast/lunch/dinner at IHOP.
Even if the appartment is a little small, you have everything you need there. The shower works great!
Do not take buses, just wawas or whatever they call those vans. They are the same money and work all night long, take cash, and will stop wherever you are. 15 minutes to port authority, though at night with traffic it can take up to 30 minutes.
Anyway, we had a real good experience and I do recommend this place.
We had a wonderful stay here. The house was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. I'd pick staying in a place like this over a hotel any day and would highly recommend this place or any of Miyoko's other properties as she is very good on response time and making sure her guests have everything they need.
I really liked staying at this apartment. You can't beat this price in combination with the convenient and fast access to Manhattan! The apartment is small but just right for our needs, as you don't spend too much time in it anyway. The bed was super comfortable. The only thing that comes into my mind is that you can't close the shower door properly so we always had to watch out to not spill the water on the bathroom floor. But I didn't mind that too much since we've only been here for 3 nights.
Thank you for staying at your apartment - it was a pleasure :)
