Please remember to bring your applicable cleaning fee in cash to leave upon check out. Sometimes people add the cleaning fee to the Airbnb price but collecting it in cash saves us both money since airbnb adds a percentage fee on all money collected through their platform.
You have the apartment to yourself. You are welcome to use all condiments, spices, and teas.
Please remove shoes at the door, it keeps the carpets nice.
Please be respectful of neighbors and keep noise levels down after 11pm.
I live here when it isn't rented, so please be respectful of my things.
Zeona was a good host. She provided lots of information and was very responsive to our questions/concerns. The apartment was exactly as described. The location would be a pretty long walk from downtown, but we knew that in advance and had a rental car to get around town. Mostly clean, but not entirely spotless... but it's not a hotel, and it was perfectly adequate for what we expected.
We booked on the basis of the excellent reviews on this site. Unfortunately when we arrived there was broken glass, a discarded drink container and lots of human hair on the shag-pile carpeted floor, the toilet was covered in urine, the bath was black with stains and mold, the kitchen was covered in sticky grease and the microwave was covered with a spray of yellow food deposits. The toaster was also filthy and unusable. Zeona offered a one-night refund and to waive cleaning fees, which was totally inadequate as we had to pay a lot more for alternative accommodation at short notice. Later she denied everything, claiming the apartment had been confirmed as "spotless" by her witnesses. Luckily we had plenty of photo evidence and 4 witnesses (we all made notarised affadavits and supplied these to airbnb). Despite viewing the evidence, she continues to claim the place was in an acceptable state. We ended up paying about double at two hotels (no hotel could cover the duration of our stay at short notice). Travelling with a small child and associated luggage this was a horrible experience which totally ruined our trip (supposed to be a family reunion, ended up mostly running around town trying to find hotels with room and trying to get a refund from Zeona). We are currently awaiting dispute resolution with airbnb.
I would add that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there are no lifts. There is no shortage of friendly drunks and smokers however.
This claim is still under airbnb review. I was out of time at the time of this check in and had a housekeeper clean rather than clean it myself which is a normal procedure. I was concerned that the cleaner may have forgotten to clean that day so I had a friend visit the unit after the claims of disorder and disgust from the guest. My friend reported back a perfectly clean unit complete with photos. I really have no idea what this guest was referencing, it does not add up. As you can see, I have many positive reviews specially referencing the cleanliness. I made multiple attempts to come up with a mutually beneficial resolution with his guest and unfortunately she was quite unreasonable.
Zeona was a lovely host. She was very easy to communicate with and her place was really nice. Not too far from downtown, really clean, great kitchen and comfy bed. Would stay there again!
The apartment unit was clean, in a good location and the owner was accommodating and easy to communicate with over email. I would recommend this apartment to a friend staying in the area.
Cute cozy spot. Fully set up; had everything needed to be comfortable including pots and pans. Close to Boulder Creek trail which made Zipping around on bike fun and convenient.
My stay in Boulder was great and Zeona's apartment had a lot to do with it. It was a comfortable place to come home to each day! I did have to clean the bathroom a bit, but overall it had everything I needed in a great location. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're traveling to Boulder.
Nice location in Boulder. Zeona was helpful in providing knowledge about the town, as well as different places to eat and hiking trails.

About the Host, Zeona
Hi! I'm originally from Maui, Hawaii, but have been living in and loving Boulder, CO for over 3 years now. I recently purchased a home in St. Louis which I am also sharing on Airbnb. I discovered this wonderful city on a visit for my friend's wedding, who also lives in town. I am a Licensed Bodyworker (massage and other modalities), Body-centered Counselor, and Financial Coach. I love traveling and meeting travelers. I think hosting people is an incredible way to live vicariously through their adventures in between my own. I was a tour guide around the US, so I can be a great reference if you're on or planning a road trip.
