I try to be as inconspicuous as possible. I am in and out. You may see me ........and you may not :)
Nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach and convenience store, bakery, pizza/sub shop and the well known Lobster Trap Restaurant which is well known for its delicious seafood.
There is public transportation two blocks from the house but a car is the best way to see Cape Cod.
I live in a quiet neighborhood, where on street parking is allowed. Please park in the front of the house and then walk around to the back of the house and use the door by the driveway to get in. You will find the code to the lock in the House manual.
All I ask is that you be considerate of other guests. Clean up after yourselves when you use the kitchen and wipe up after yourselves in the bathroom so everything will be nice and clean for all of the guests. NO SMOKING IN THE HOME.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay in Cape Cod, many thanks to Linda, our hostess. The house was beautiful, location was great and Linda was extremely hospitable and friendly, making us feel nothing but welcome in her home. If we find ourselves in Cape Cod in the future, we would absolutely stay with her again!
Our stay at Linda's home was absolutely perfect. The home was comfortable, clean and well organized. The Mermaid room was adorable, with great decor, and amenities such as the mini fridge, A/C, etc. Linda is prompt and kind to communicate with, and made our stay so easy. The location is ideally located to the shops including coffee and pizza, and the town is adorable with the train station, park and tennis court right there. We would absolutely stay here again in the future and plan to recommend Linda's to our family/friends that frequent the cape!
We stayed at Beach Haven for a wedding my boyfriend and I had on the Cape. Our stay was so pleasant and Linda was very organized and very accommodating. Her house is too adorable and very Cape Cod. She was very welcoming and the other guess that stayed at the house were very easy going as well. We only saw each other in the morning, as me and my boyfriend just wanted to be out exploring the Cape. However, I would definitely recommend this cute and cozy bed a breakfast to anyone who is looking to visit the Cape and have a relaxing weekend.
Thank you so much Linda!
Linda's home was very clean with comfortable beds and a cute seaside them. She makes you feel right at home.
It was a pleasure to stay at Linda's B&B
She is very lovely lady and quick to respond
The beach walk was beautiful in the morning as well
Linda made my partner and I feel welcome right off the bat by being quick and communicative from the moment we booked the room. We traveled from New York to stay in "the Mermaid Room" for Fourth of July weekend, and it was even more comfortable and convenient than the listing made it seem: Big room with a TV, comfy bed, very easy to come and go as we pleased (we had to check-in pretty late), so close to a beautiful and quiet beach, coffee and pastry ready every morning! There were helpful signs all over the house, including a post-it note on a magazine that led us to a beautiful park for a breathtaking sunset. When Linda noticed us coming back from the beach, she offered to let us borrow a couple folding chairs she had stashed on her deck. The neighborhood was pretty and quiet, very easy to find and plenty of good eats/sites within walking and driving distance. We can't wait to go back... quite possibly before the summer is out!
Overall, the house was very welcoming and everything was organized and easy to deal with. The coffee was ready in the pot every morning and we had also the pleasure to meeting Linda, who gave us very useful tips :)
Our experience in the Mermaid Room was very positive! The room was exactly as described, very tidy, clean and cozy, with a really comfortable bed. Linda has a particular dedication to decorations and everything was so well-done.
Very quiet and friendly neighborhood; walking-distance from the beach, ice cream shop, pizzeria and seafood restaurant!
We definitely enjoyed Linda's house more than staying in a hotel, and we would love to go back again when in Cape Cod area.

About the Host, Linda
I work in the local public school system as a Speech Pathologist with middle school and high school children. I have always thought sharing my home as a B & B might be something I would want to do someday. I finally took the leap and am meeting people from all over the world! I love it!!
As your host, I think you will find me very friendly and hospitable. I will do my best to make your stay at my home one that will make you feel as comfortable as you would in your own home! I want you to enjoy the common areas such as the living room and help yourself to any thing you need in the kitchen. Feel free to cook your dinner if you prefer that to going out. I think my feedback describes what you will find when you get to my home.
I did lots of traveling when I was in high school (a trip to Italy with my brother and two girlfriends when I was 17 years old. We traveled for a month all over Italy!! At some stops we stayed with relatives and at others B & B's. I don't think that would happen often in today's world. I did it again when I graduated from college but this time in addition to Italy spent a little time in Switzerland and Belgium as well.
For the last six years I have spent 8 days every summer (in August) with high school girlfriends on the beautiful island of St Martin where one of the girls owns a villa.
I can't wait to meet each and every one of you!
