Ready to go for tonight! Super clean per CDC guidelines between stays. Our AIRBNB has it all! A private entrance, lots of goodies, fast Wifi, a comfy Queen size bed (and a sofa bed or aerobed if needed), 7 minutes to SEATAC airport and 20 minutes to Downtown. Beautiful Japanese Gardens and courtyard. Perfect for a staycation, as a work-from-home alternative, extended visits or overnights away from the kids! Plenty of parking! Electronic locks perfect for late night check-in's too.
The space
Our 2nd floor “Pacific Northwest” themed apartment is designed for the traveler looking for something special for their Seattle visit. Enter the courtyard into our lavish Japanese style landscaped back yard, with a koi pond and waterfalls, dramatic night lighting, winding reflecting path and large deck with BBQ, fire pit, table and covered lounging area.
Experience the best “sleep" of your life with our super comfy yet firm pillow-top queen size mattress, soft sheets and blankets, and all the pillows you will ever need!
The Adventurer’s Loft's bathroom has a stand-up shower and all the amenities you might need including shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
Your mini-kitchen has a sink, microwave (with complimentary snacks!), mini-fridge, electric hot water pot, toaster, filtered water, and a Keurig coffee maker.
Being in Seattle, we offer a great complimentary selection of coffee blends and teas. Enjoy your morning coffee or meal from your bistro table, overlooking the neighborhood through large picture windows.
The Loft also has access to secured wireless internet, LCD TV with access to your favorite streaming services, beautiful custom hard wood floors and tile, extra soundproofing, and a couch.
We’ve also added an Amazon Echo Alexa, for listening to music, weather reports, and lots of other fun! (Instructions to disable are next to the unit, in case you don’t feel comfortable with a smart device).
There is also a large open closet space at the entrance, to store and hang your belongings for easy access.
Please be assured we’re taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations using appropriate bleach based cleaning solutions.
Guest access
Guests have access to our lush backyard, with its beautiful Japanese style landscaping, huge deck with comfortable places to relax, a teak table and chairs for outdoor dining (which actually lived on a cruise ship traveling the world for first two years of their life!), a propane fire pit, multi-tiered waterfall and koi pond, and BBQ (please let us know in advance if you would like to use, so we can prepare utensils, plates and silverware).
Since I use an electronic coded lock, I do not have to be there when you arrive. Arriving super late and need a place to stay? We welcome you!
Plenty of parking, if you bring a car!
Other things to note
We have 2 super friendly pups, Squeek the pug puppy, and Molly the momma Pug. They will most likely come visit you when you arrive (happy barking and tails wagging) and we just ask that you double check that all gates are shut tight each time you go in and out, to keep the pups safe and secure.
The Adventurer's Loft is GREEN, with electricity provided by solar panels, and proper recycling.
I always keep the room ready for guests, and utilize a code lock, so I don't even have to be home for your arrival! This creates the best flexibility for our guests. Late night arrivals and last minute bookings are totally cool! Need a room tonight and it's available? Instant book!
I am very familiar with the cruise departures/arrivals and can definitely offer some great advice if you are going on a cruise!

Neighborhood highlights
The Adventurer's Loft is just a few blocks from the Puget Sound, and the cool sea breezes often can be felt. Burien is a clean, comfortable, and quiet neighborhood just 7 minutes from SEATAC airport, with a great "small town" style downtown, central park, and lots of great bars and restaurants. We are also 10 minutes from Westfield Southcenter Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in Western Washington, which has two large movie theater complexes and lots of great restaurants and shopping. We are also a short 20 minutes from downtown and all of the best attractions that Seattle has to offer, including the Space Needle, Pike Market, and the beautiful downtown waterfront.
