  • Had a very nice time staying at Mark's cabin in Guerneville. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Nice, clear directions for guests, and little things like menus for local restaurants and a map of the nearby Armstrong Redwoods. No problems.

  • What an awesome place for some R&R! Mark's cabin is truly nestled in the redwoods with easy access to both wine country and the coast. An awesome, unobtrusive host, Mark was thoughtful and helpful.

  • We had a nice stay at the Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods. Communication with Mark was easy. Location was great - near downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Redwoods, very private and quiet.

  • We stayed at Mark's cabin this past weekend and it was the perfect getaway. His cabin is beyond cozy and tucked away quietly in the thick of the redwoods, but up on a hill where sunlight still hits the windows. It is well stocked, easy to find, and the interior design is modern, clean, and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here and we are even planning to come back!

  • As charming as the photos reveal. My partner and I planned a mini birthday getaway from SF and the trip was much too short. A fully equipped and very cozy cabin in the woods. Minutes from all the amenities of town and comfort foods. Although we never met, thank you for being a terrific host, Mark!

  • Mark's cabin was the perfect little get away, off the highway enough to feel secluded in the redwoods, but not too far from downtown Guerneville and all the restaurants or the wineries on River/West side road. The place is the perfect size for 2 ppl but large enough to accommodate 4 ppl. The cabin is clean and has been updated throughout and there is plenty of appliances and amenities for your comfort. The nights and early mornings can be nippy and the space heaters are adequate. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the cabin and a flashlight is important at night. Mark communicated quickly and made himself with any questions and concerns. I would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a quaint cabin in the woods. I would stay here again the next time I'm visiting Guerneville.

  • The cozy cabin is aptly named. Great to wake up in the Redwoods, and the location is perfect for exploring the coast or moving inland to wine country, etc. Guerneville is great as well, so there are lots of options. Would definitely stay in the cabin again.

  • The cabin was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Perfect getaway! We would love to stay here again.

    October 2013
  • The house is absolutely great and was the perfect size for two of us. The heaters provided were sufficient for getting the place comfortable over a cold weekend. If we come back to Guerneville we'll definitely try to stay here again!

San Francisco IT worker, speedy cyclist who has a fixie and isn't afraid to use it. When not traveling I spend my time riding my bike, building or repairing other bikes, and stealing music from teh int0rwebz. I love the redwoods of Northern California and am so privileged to be able to host guests at my properties on the Russian River! I am working and investing in making my space the greatest experience for visitors to Sonoma County - new amenities and features are always in the works as well as additional spaces and properties which can ensure visitors from all over get the chance to experience this unique area. When traveling I prefer to experience the big city and the backwoods as a local - visit coffee houses, walk and cycle and check the price of supermarket cookies, or little-known back-country and remote destinations that really help me connect with the natural beauty of a place. I especially enjoy the cities and countryside of the west coast of North America, and have traveled extensively between central BC and southern California. My favourite travels include cycling through East Vancouver, hiking the Gulf Islands, cross-country skiing the central Sierra Nevada, soaking up the sun by the pool in Palm Springs, and of course, watching the redwoods grow along the north coast of California.
