mark is a great host and we had an absolutely magic stay at this warm and cozy cabin. thanks!!!
We had a nice stay at the Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods. Communication with Mark was easy. Location was great - near downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Redwoods, very private and quiet.
We stayed at Mark's cabin this past weekend and it was the perfect getaway. His cabin is beyond cozy and tucked away quietly in the thick of the redwoods, but up on a hill where sunlight still hits the windows. It is well stocked, easy to find, and the interior design is modern, clean, and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here and we are even planning to come back!
As charming as the photos reveal. My partner and I planned a mini birthday getaway from SF and the trip was much too short. A fully equipped and very cozy cabin in the woods. Minutes from all the amenities of town and comfort foods. Although we never met, thank you for being a terrific host, Mark!
Mark's cabin was the perfect little get away, off the highway enough to feel secluded in the redwoods, but not too far from downtown Guerneville and all the restaurants or the wineries on River/West side road. The place is the perfect size for 2 ppl but large enough to accommodate 4 ppl. The cabin is clean and has been updated throughout and there is plenty of appliances and amenities for your comfort. The nights and early mornings can be nippy and the space heaters are adequate. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the cabin and a flashlight is important at night. Mark communicated quickly and made himself with any questions and concerns. I would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a quaint cabin in the woods. I would stay here again the next time I'm visiting Guerneville.
The cozy cabin is aptly named. Great to wake up in the Redwoods, and the location is perfect for exploring the coast or moving inland to wine country, etc. Guerneville is great as well, so there are lots of options. Would definitely stay in the cabin again.
The cabin was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Perfect getaway! We would love to stay here again.
The house is absolutely great and was the perfect size for two of us. The heaters provided were sufficient for getting the place comfortable over a cold weekend. If we come back to Guerneville we'll definitely try to stay here again!
An absolute gem in the Redwoods. Almost felt like we were staying in a cabin suspended inside of a gigantic tree - the views were amazing. And the location is remote enough to enjoy the woods, but just a short drive to enjoy the town amenities and beach.
If arriving later in the evening, make sure to bring a flashlight (or use a flashlight app on your phone) as it will be useful when locating the steps leading up to the cabin. Mark's communication was excellent. Cabin is full of all basics, and the full kitchen is great for meal preparation. You'll have no worries booking this place.
Mark was a great host, he communicated often enough. The cabin is set up above the private road, a long walk up stairs leads to the front door. Mark did a great job renovating the place, it was very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of utensils and such with only a toaster lacking. The bathroom is sizable with loads of hot water. The bedroom is huge easily accommodating the king bed. There were plenty of towels and the entire cabin was spotless - nice! Most of all the cabin is super quiet allowing for a solid nights sleep. We couldn't have been happier with the crib in the end, great experience. The only bummer might have been the low end outdoor furniture, which was too dirty to use. It's a great deck and we could have eaten out there with the great weather we had. Minor setback at most. Kudos for Mark, just what airbnb is all about.
