Robert made us feel like home- he called us early on the day of our expected arrival to make sure we followed the directions he provided in the reservation. When we arrived at the cabin we had a bottle of red wine, a bottle of Cozy Cabin beer and orange marmalade waiting for us :) The cabin was cozy and perfect. My boyfriend and I had a great time and will definitely be back. Thanks again! Issis & Dimitris
Robert was terrific, met with us as we arrived (he was cleaning the place himself, it was very clean). The pictures don't do it justice, this is a wonderful little spot. It was warm and cozy, had all the amenities we needed. The upstairs was all living room, dining room, kitchen, and the downstairs was all bedroom, with a cute little gas fireplace that definitely did it's job. There are windows (and blinds) throughout the house, and while this is definitely surrounded by a few neighbor houses, when you're inside you feel surrounded by redwoods, almost as if you were in a tree house.
We loved our stay here, and Robert's quick tips on food and bike trails in the area really made our trip special. Would highly recommend this, or probably any place he hosts, because he just seems like the kinda guy who doesn't settle for anything less than perfect.
The house was really suspended in a forest, with a great patio and bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. I almost regret that it had wifi and cable, sometimes completely disconnecting is really nice. The rooms were cozy and warm, the bedroom has a fireplace that I'm sure is great in cold weather. the windows all have top down/bottom up shades to provide great light and privacy. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on a nice slightly foggy morning with the patio door open and having great fresh air. It was a very relaxing place to stay with plenty to do around, of course tons of wineries.
My husband and I loved staying in the cabin for 2 nights. The cabin is cozy with all amenities you would need to stay longer. We were happy to find a small downtown nearby with a natural foods store, coffee shops and nice little restaurants. We would definitely return!
Thanks for calling to let us know about how to find the key and explain driving in. It was very clear as we arrived.
We loved staying at the Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods! We arrived late in the evening and Robert was there to greet us, help with our luggage, and set the house up for our stay. The cabin was awesome and fit our party of three perfectly. The location is a short drive from many wineries and very close to the coast as well. The cabin is filled with goodies and cooking at "home" was a bonus for us. Robert was very helpful with providing suggestions for good eats and drinks. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!
Comfortable, spacious, and very private. Great views, as if you're sleeping in the forest. Many great photo opportunities right from the deck. We only stayed two nights, but with the kitchen, laundry, and other amenities this cabin would have been comfortable for a week. Kitchen was indeed well equipped. It was nice having the option of making or sipping on coffee with cream when we woke up in the morning and we enjoyed receiving the jar of orange marmalade and bottle of BV wine.
I recommend arriving in daylight as the winding narrow roads made me nervous, but my companion, who was driving, handled them with aplomb.
Robert was friendly in his greeting, and provided recommendations for the surrounding area. The cabin is about 15 minutes drive to downtown Guerneville and about 30 minutes from the coast. There are many delicious restaurants, cute shops, and beautiful natural places to visit in the vicinity. A great first airbnb experience.
Beautiful home amidst the redwoods! My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine's Day weekend in this gorgeous cabin. The location is very serene and peaceful, yet close to Main Street and everything Guerneville has to offer. Will definitely reach out to Robert & Mark next time we're in town. Thanks again!
