Molly made us feel very welcome. She contacted us the day before we were to arrive in order to confirm our arrangements. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were immaculate and we were able to come and go as we please.
Molly was a wonderful host. She helped to accommodate for our last minute guest as well :) her puppy Oscar was a friendly and adorable bonus as well!
This is the first time we have stayed in an AirBnB place. Molly communicated well with us answering questions quickly in preparing to come. Our arrival time had been delayed because of our flight, but Molly was flexible and accommodating. Once we arrived, she made us feel welcomed. The room had a queen size bed, very comfortable. The size of the room is a little small, but it was perfect for our needs. There was a table next to the bed with a chair that was very convenient when we had to do computer work. Having internet access was a big plus. We had our own bathroom within our room which we liked too for privacy. Molly was very well organized to think of things like hangers, shampoo, hair dryer, iron, etc. Her little dog made us feel welcomed too. He would occasionally greet us, which we enjoyed, but was mostly happy to do his own thing. The room was in a neighborhood, so very quiet.
We really liked the location of her home because it is easy walking distance to the main area of Ballard as well as bus stops to get to and from the airport and downtown. It is less than a block from the stop!
Overall, a great place to stay. We would definitely come back.
This is my second stay with Molly and it was just as perfect as my first. She offers such a great space for her guests. The room & bath are private and comfortable.
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Molly Brown's. The room with the attached bathroom was great. The townhouse is in the neighborhood where family lives so it was less then 5 minutes away. I love Ballard it is such a fun area to walk in. There are lots of great shops and restaurants and you are close to public transportation to go into downtown Seattle.
Molly is a very gracious host and made us feel welcome. I recommend her place. The next time I come to Seattle if her place is available I would like to stay again. Thank you Molly.
Molly was welcoming & helpful. Our room & bath were clean & comfortable. The immediate neighborhood is quiet & great for walking. Marvelous selection of restaurants & shops a short walk away. Street parking available & it only takes 15 mins to drive to downtown Seattle. We had a lovely stay.
Molly had a nice and cheery room, just as advertised. She was a very accommodating hostess and I enjoyed being there. The location in Ballard was just what I needed.
About the Host, Molly
I'm a writer and editor in Seattle who's spent lots of time living in different places. I settled here for the great food and wine and the great outdoors. I can't wait to travel to: the Myanmar, Cambodia, Tanzania, Bostwana and pretty much everywhere I haven't been yet. I love hearing other people's stories of travel and adventure and suggesting things for them to do. If I could do one thing every day it would be to surf.
