Interaction with Guests
If I am home I think you will find me a welcoming hostess. I try to give guests as much privacy as they want.
My neighborhood is very quiet with wonderful neighbors some of whom have lived here for years and years.
There is public transportation two blocks from the house that can get you around Cape Cod but the best way to get around is by car.
Other Things to Note
Please park in the front of the house. Walk around the back of the house and use the door there. ( motion detector light will go on when you get near the door). You will need a password so be sure to contact me about a week before you arrive for the passcode.
Please turn off the air conditioning when leaving your room. It will help me to keep my prices as low as possible.
All I ask is that guests be considerate of each other so that everyone has an enjoyable stay! Please clean up after yourselves in the kitchen and the bathroom so that things are clean for other guests.
I live in a quiet neighborhood, where on street parking is allowed and finding a space is never a problem. Please park in the front of the house.
Ver quick overnight stay but all went well. We were coming back from Provincetown and needed a place to stay so we could catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard in the morning. The cottage was nice and Linda was very helpful in getting a mattress in the room on a short notice.
We never met Linda so it was more like a regular bed & breakfast place versus an Airbnb where you meet and connect with your host. There are other rooms at the cottage so you're subject to noise from other rooms. All in all, it was a positive experience and I would recommend the cottage.
Very charming home. The room my girlfriend and I spent a night in was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and access to showers/mini-fridge/air-conditioning just as advertised. Relaxing home and neighbourhood near Cape Cod to spend an evening in.
The Blue wicker room is awesome. it is my second time at beach haven and I loved it. the bed is nice, and the room has a lot of space and a TV. it was easy to access and easy to use. I wish I was there longer!
Linda's home was just wonderful. My boyfriend and I stayed in the wicker room, which made us feel like we were getting the real cape cod experience. The best thing about our stay was just how accommodating Linda was, even though we never met her in person. She let us clean up after the check out time, suggested a delicious local restaurant for dinner, and was quick to respond several hours after we had left when I thought I had forgotten some items. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable, and convenient place to stay, you can't go wrong here.
I enjoyed staying here immensely! The place was affordable, clean, and close to main attractions!
I came down to the Cape for the Falmouth Road Race, and though it was only for one night I could have not picked a better room! Linda's home felt welcoming and open, and this room felt like the Cape rooms I stayed in as a child during summer vacations, comfortable and a home away from home c: Only wish I could of stayed longer!
We stayed in the Blue Wicker Room and it was exactly as described. Whilst we didn't meet Linda in person she couldn't have been more helpful. The house is clearly labelled which meant that we could find our way around the kitchen with ease :)

About the Host, Linda
I work in the local public school system as a Speech Pathologist with middle school and high school children. I have always thought sharing my home as a B & B might be something I would want to do someday. I finally took the leap and am meeting people from all over the world! I love it!!
As your host, I think you will find me very friendly and hospitable. I will do my best to make your stay at my home one that will make you feel as comfortable as you would in your own home! I want you to enjoy the common areas such as the living room and help yourself to any thing you need in the kitchen. Feel free to cook your dinner if you prefer that to going out. I think my feedback describes what you will find when you get to my home.
I did lots of traveling when I was in high school (a trip to Italy with my brother and two girlfriends when I was 17 years old. We traveled for a month all over Italy!! At some stops we stayed with relatives and at others B & B's. I don't think that would happen often in today's world. I did it again when I graduated from college but this time in addition to Italy spent a little time in Switzerland and Belgium as well.
For the last six years I have spent 8 days every summer (in August) with high school girlfriends on the beautiful island of St Martin where one of the girls owns a villa.
I can't wait to meet each and every one of you!
