  • We had an utterly delightful stay with Josie and Bill. The neighborhood is beautiful and so is their home. They were incredibly hospitable and we really enjoyed our stay very much. We were visiting University of Puget Sound and their home in only 5-7 minutes away. We will likely be visiting again because our daughter has decided on UPS as her college choice.

  • Josie and William's home is delightful. Our hosts are warm and considerate people who made us feel completely welcome. The house is gorgeous. The dogs are friendly and cute. Our room was beautiful and well supplied with everything that a traveler might need. The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. William prepared a delicious breakfast for us before our tour of the University of Puget Sound. We enjoyed talking with William over breakfast, while gazing out on the beautiful gardens. We look forward to many more visits to RooPark.

  • This is a great place to stay. Bed is first rate. I felt like I was at a five-star hotel. The home is very inviting and full of character. Hosts were wonderful, giving attention to the last detail. Breakfast was very enjoyable. This home is within walking distance to Proctor and Puget Sound University.

  • I had a lovely stay at Josie and William's artful home when I was in Tacoma visiting family and friends. The hosts did everything to make my visit comfortable and welcoming. I especially enjoyed William's paintings that adorned the walls and talking with him about his process when painting. The dogs were the official greeters and made me feel very at home. The location was perfect for me and made it easy to access downtown, the freeway, and the Proctor District. Great place to stay with wonderful hosts! Thank you William and Josie!

  • Once again, it was a delight to be hosted by Josie and Bill. We always look forward to our stay and find their home warm and welcoming. It is lovely to be traveling, away from the familiar, and yet have a wonderful "home base". Bill and Josie are the most gracious hosts and their home is located in a lovely and convenient neighborhood. Bill and Josie care about their home and care about people, they will do whatever they can to make your stay a pleasant one.

  • Josie and Bill provided for me a perfect 'home away...' from which to enjoy my visit with my UPS freshman. A lovely home in a quiet area comfortably and beautifully appointed to meet my every need. Bill's breakfast oatmeal was a treat! And they went to the trouble to provide my breakfast favorite, fresh grapefruit. Bill's artwork inspires one in every room and Josie is an inspiration in herself. Charlie and Buttons add their fuzzy white wiggles to complete the welcome. Anyone lucky enough to stay with Josie and Bill will recognize all my words.

  • Josie and William made us feel very welcomed and made our stay a great experience. They prepared a wonderful breakfast for us the morning we were there. The room was gorgeous and had the bathroom right next door with great water pressure in the shower. Charlie and Buttons, their puppies, made the stay that much more fun as they are very friendly and fluffy. I definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay.

  • We had a wonderful weekend at Josie and William's Tacoma home. They are gracious hosts and their home is lovely and welcoming. They are within walking distance to restaurants and a few local shops and the neighborhood is a pleasant walking area. The room is charming but on the small side. We were there mostly to sleep and unwind so it worked perfectly. We will definitely stay there again on future visits to Tacoma.

  • My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely home. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and well located for moving about in the Tacoma area. Bill and Josie are sweet and caring hosts. They went above and beyond to care for us and even welcomed our son, a UPS student, and his friend for an evening of hanging out and lively conversation. This is a great place to stay, relax, and enjoy a wonderful home with wonderful hosts.
