We have great neighbors and love being able to bike to Point Defiance or take walks to the Proctor Saturday Farmer's Market. My stay with Josie and William couldn't have been better! Upon meeting them, I felt like I had known them for years. I loved their comfortable home and William's artwork is amazing. I had a wonderful time exploring tour and lodging possibilities for their dream trip to Spain. Buttons and Charlie enthusiasticly welcomed me into their space. I'd love to stay here again and look forward to visiting with Josie and William in the future.
Bill and Josie are the loveliest of hosts.Their home is warm, comfortable and inviting, in a beautiful neighborhood in Tacoma. Conveniently located, comfy bed, and with private bath. The best. Love them, love their home.
Josie and Bill are, just as the many other reviews point out, lovely hosts. Little Buttons and Charlie will greet you at the door, and then you'll be treated to the elegant antiques and art that give their home an old-world sophistication. the gorgeous sleigh bed isn't just a fine piece, it's also incredibly comfortable and cozy, and you won't want to get up, except you know you'll have nice heated towels in the bath! While this trip for me left me little time to interact with them, every encounter with Josie and Bill was charming. It's a beautiful place in a beautiful neighborhood.
Beautiful people. Beautiful house. I can't say enough good things about Bill and Josie. They are warm, lovely, kind people. I think anyone would feel welcome at this home. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is decadent. I wish I could have stayed longer!
We had a good night's sleep on comfortable bed. Josie prepared a great omelet. A short stay with two Bichons Buttons and Charlie who are very friendly.
Thank you for hosting us once again! Excellent place to stay, close to UPS, warm hosts, friendly little dogs, and delicious waffles!
Josie and Bill were absolutely wonderful hosts. The home was beautiful and the room exactly as described. All of my expectations were met or exceeded. Josie and Bill are very welcoming and made me feel right at home. Josie even made me some warm milk with eggnog and cinnamon after my long flight. She made me warm milk, you guys... it doesn't get much better than that! They were great about letting me come and go as I pleased and even invited me to use one of their bikes. Great couple and a wonderful place to stay!
