Josie and Bill were very friendly and welcoming hosts. Their house is in a perfect location in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood. We slept very well in the comfy bed. The bathroom was right next door and spotless. We really enjoyed our conversations with Josie and Bill over a glass of wine in the evenings, and during our yummy breakfasts made by Bill in the mornings. This is a very peaceful place to stay and enjoy Tacoma's North End. We would definitely stay with them again if we were to need a place to stay in Tacoma in the future.
We made a very last minute reservation with Josie and Bill, yet they still accommodated us perfectly. The house is in a nice, peaceful neighbourhood of Tacoma, and we were made to feel very welcome in their home. All in all, very comfortable stay with two fantastic hosts. Highly recommendable.
Josie and William were friendly and very accommodating and provided great breakfasts and welcomed use of the house as needed. The location is great for close access to many local attractions.
This was the perfect place for us to stay after a long overseas flight. RooPark is a quiet and serene neighborhood and Josie and William's house is charming with a beautiful yard. We enjoyed their company, and their dogs (Buttons and Charlie) treated us like family. We were treated to coffee, breakfast, and snacks when we needed them.
We so loved having you. We only regret that you did not tell us you had been on a what...18 hour flight??? We would have made sure that we had light food, a little walk map, a bit of water, before you tucked in. Hope our cheese, crackers, fizzy water was OK and know that we so enjoyed you. We learned to ask where are you coming from with your visit! Hope there is a next time. Josie and Bill
After a 5 hour drive from Portland (that should have taken us 2 1/2), we were welcomed warmly by William. Unfortunately we could not rest in their beautiful garden before heading out to our daughter and her family for dinner. The house is within walking distance to their home (as well as the UPS campus) so that is a real plus for us. William and Josie's home has been lovingly restored, with classic furnishings, stunning artwork and a beautiful garden. Our room was very comfortable and having the bathroom w/i close proximity to the room was also very nice.
Waking up to fresh brewed coffee each morning was great as was the omelet breakfast and conversations with William and Josie. We will most surely be back
This was a wonderful accommodation - exactly what I was looking for. The house and garden is lovely, the room clean, comfortable and very charming. My hosts were gracious and very accommodating. This is a lovely location in a very nice neighborhood convenient to everything in Tacoma.
It was great to meet you also and hope you will be back!
So sorry about the light bulb - we noticed the one is out in the bath and replaced it. It did not dawn on us the little light by the bed would be out. Thank you for letting us know.
All the best,
Josie and Bill
Josie and Bill were delightful hosts and made my visit to Tacoma truly a memorable experience. Their home was charming and my room and bath were completely comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast included was a special treat. I hope to be able to return for a second visit soon. I recommend this Airbnb to anyone interested in a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Tacoma.
