Nestled in the Arbuckle mountains, overlooking Honey Creek, and only steps away from Turner Falls Park, Bison Bluff is the perfect place to unwind and immerse yourself in all the natural beauty of South Central Oklahoma. The space
The Arbuckle Mountains are a historical gem in southern Oklahoma. Nearly 1.4 billion years old, they are the oldest known mountains in the U.S. between the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains. Nestled in the center is Turner Falls Park, which contains Oklahoma's tallest waterfall on Honey Creek. Bison Bluff Cabin is located less than 1/2 mile to the park, and overlooks Honey Creek. It was originally built in the 1940's by Ellsworth Collings, who also built the famed castle inside Turner Falls Park. Once a museum, it has also, over time, functioned as a restaurant and a store. Owned by our family for decades, it has been lovingly updated over the years to become the luxury retreat it is today, while retaining its original charm.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Bison Bluff has 1 primary bedroom with a private bath (shower/tub combination), 1 loft bedroom, 1 full guest bath (shower/tub combination. Downstairs) and 1 half bath in the game room. The 2 queens are located together in the loft, so they are not in a private space. The open loft space, the wooden stairs and the height of the beds in the loft may not be appropriate or safe for very small children or anyone with mobility issues. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a large game room with ping pong, basketball, an arcade game and multiple board and floor games. The back deck is covered and overlooks the creek. There is direct creek access and a fire pit overlooking the creek. Occasionally, burn bans in the area may limit fire pit usage. During storm season, the fire pit and chairs may be relocated to the top of the hill to prevent loss during potential flooding near the creek. To ensure guest safety and the integrity of the property, the cabin has a MAXIMUM occupancy of 6 guests at any time, including children. Unauthorized/extra guests and parties and/or events of any kind are subject to fines (see rules). Pets and smoking are NOT allowed and are also subject to fines for violation. For the safety and security of our guests, there are exterior cameras on the property by the door and facing the parking lot. The cabin is right off of US-77. While usually quiet, especially at night, some road noise can be expected. Due to the historical nature of the property, it is not wheelchair accessible.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, minus the owners closets. The laundry room is available for guest use. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor area down to the creek using the stairs. No access is allowed to the neighboring home or cabins or their surrounding property.
