This is Eastlake, the most accessible neighborhood in Seattle- just off I-5 and 520 exits. Close to Amazon, UW, F. Hutch. Homey neighborhood which hugs Lk Union. We have floating homes, free tennis ct, a bocce ball court, and lakeside parks. Bus 70 So. to Sea- 10 min ride (2 mi.). Bus 70 No. to the UW (2 mi.). Our sunsets are to die for. We are so close to the city, but you feel like you are miles from the high rises and noise. It's good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The room is accessed through a private outside door off of the deck. The rental room and bathroom are on completely private and locked from the main townhouse, with your deck off of the room. There is a refrig., toaster, microwave, and silverware, glasses, wine glasses, etc. in the room, as well as an iron and hair dryer. Towels, sheets, and robes are provided. We can provide a washer and dryer if necessary.
The rental space is located on the first level of a 3 level townhouse. We live on the 2nd and 3rd levels. The rental space has it's own private entrance from the deck. The bedroom and bathroom are completely private. We enter the home through a different door, and the rental area is locked from the main home. The deck is for use only by the tenant. We have our own garden in the back of the home.
Interaction with guests
We live on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the townhouse. The rental space is on the first floor with a separate entrance. We can interact, or not. The deck is for you during your stay. We have another space for our relaxation in the back yard. Our outdoor cat may mosey up to the door occasionally.
Other things to note
We can provide you with a parking pass for street parking. The bus is 2 blocks away. There are great breakfast establishments in the area, as well as at least a dozen restaurants that are walking distance. The trolley is also about a 15 minute walk from the house, and bus 70 is 3 blocks away. The floating homes are just 2 blocks down the street - it's fun to looky-loo there.
