Very good apartment in a centric part of Rome, near the Fontaine de Trevi.
The situation is very quiet.
The beds are very confortable to sleep.
The wifi is perfect.
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I do not the flat at all.
-4th floor withou elevator
-in the reality the flat is dirty and unconfortable
-the shower is old and hot water is not enough for 2 person
-not enough kitchen utensils:no cutting board,no tee boiler
-no iron and ironing board
-the view from the balcony is straight to the old wall
-u can hear everything what neighbours're doing
-and about the host: i'm so sorry but it's not polite if the host doesnt answer calls and messages.
The location is good, close to the center.but it's better to stay in quite disctrict a bit out of center, cause in the lazio there're many bangladeshes, who 're annoying u selling roses and some things, dirty and in the eventng scary to walk.

Unfortunately we had problems in responding to messages and phone calls for reasons not dependent on our will.
Very nice apartment. Very gracious host in Simone. Simone was readily available. Temple Minerva is right across the street. It may be under renovation, but it's a gorgeous ruin right outside your window! It's a 15 minute walk to San Giovani in Laterano, which is a gorgeous church and a pick up point if you get a Omnia Pass which brings you everywhere you need on the bus. Get it! It's like an all inclusive cab ride from 9-6. And the small restaurant, La Familia Taverna, is just perfect. Grazie Simone! Ciao!
This apartment was great. It seems like it was fully renovated fairly recently. The bedrooms were big and the two full baths were really nice. Equally as great was the location. It's only about a 10-12 minute walk from Roma Termini station. But better than that is the actual neighborhood. It's easy enough to walk to all of the major sites in Rome like the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. But when you've done all that and want a place away from tons of tourists it is only about 4-5 blocks to Piazza della Madonna dei Monti. Between the apartment and this piazza, and in the piazza, are several awesome little cafes and restaurants. We had some awesome weather while in Rome and we really enjoyed being able to come back to this area before calling it a night.
The only negative thing I have to say is that there was no wifi signal and the host did not respond to my message asking how to access the wireless internet that is advertised in the listing.
Overall, we would stay here again.
This apartment was terrific.
Located in a smart modern area between the Vatican and Piazza Popula it is aprox 15min walk to most of the major sites. There are a number of good restaurants and shops on the doorstep and the metro is a few minutes away.
It is one of aprox 10 within a block and has a smart reception / stairway leading up to the front door. Inside it is much bigger than you would imagine with a large open plan living / dinning area. The two big double bedrooms are at either end of the apartment and have their own bathrooms giving a nice level of privacy if you are in two couples. There is also a small 3rd bedroom ideal for an extra child.
Decor is clean and smart, a good mix of ikea / quirky old stuff and the beds were very comfortable. Showers were great and the kitchen is functional. Our one gripe would be the sofas which were almost comically uncomfortable but if you are coming to Rome for the weekend you are not likely to be sitting indoors.
Overall this is a fantastic option for either a group of two couples or a family of up to 6.
Simone and his assistant Bob were such wonderful hosts. They were very responsive and very helpful. Simonee helped me with my luggage being lost and reprinting activity vouchers that were in my luggage.
The apartment was okay but the location could not be better more central and convenient. Recommend this place and if you want a great location. It is a bit bare with a few issues...the wifi issues, fuse box kept blowing, and the hot water ran out very quickly.
• Great location
• the front door has a lock with 5 bolts. Very secure.
• fairly quiet (apart from the stray cats)
• very small
• rock hard bed
• fourth floor (eight flights of stairs)
• no microwave, kettle, toaster...
• no instructions for central heating
• no proper pillows or extra blankets
• internet is a usb stick... No good for iDevices.
• one roll of toilet paper (won't hurt to leave a couple spare)
• no local suggestions or helpful advice
This was my first experience with AIRBNB and I was a little nervous about the entire experience but I was reassured by the prompt replies to my questions from Simone. I cannot say enough about the attention and friendly attitude of Simone. It really started our day in Rome well when the taxi dropped us off at the Trevi fountain and said he could not get us to the apartment due to the traffic congestion. I knew we were near the loft but could not orient myself properly. I texted Simone who replied right away and told us to wait by the church door and he found us within 5 minutes and escorted us to the loft. In addition to this he was kind enough to assist us in securing bus tickets to our next destination 2 days later and arranged for a taxi to the bus terminal in Rome.
As for the loft, it is exactly that. A single room with a galley kitchen and small bathroom and a small circular staircase with 9 steps to a small loft with a comfortable bed. My husband is 5'10" and certainly had to duck in the bedroom area. The neighborhood is relatively quiet in the evening but the morning activities can intrude if you wish to sleep in. As jet lagged as we were, there was no amount of noise that would wake us the first morning. The sights are all within walking distance but tourist buses run regularly and are not hard to find. We had only 2 days in Rome and this place was sufficient for our needs. If I were spending a longer time I would probably look for something larger with a proper separate bedroom but for a couple of days this loft met our needs.
Simone has other apartments listed through AIRBNB and I highly recommend him as a host for any of his units.
Location is everything in a short vacation like this. The place was great. Very clean and comfortable. Simone was very nice, and also Fabio, the driver who took us from the airport and gave us a nice welcoming.
