Other Things to Note
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and bring a light jacket or a windbreaker. It tends to get chilly after sunset. Cobblestone traditional paths and steps in all villages, high heels might damage your feet. All clean linen and towels are provided! As well as local "Nychteri" welcome wine, water, orange juice and filter coffee.
• Water is precious, there are no natural springs on this island. Tap WATER is desalination water from sea water. It cannot cause you any infection but it contains too much salt. It is advised to drink bottled mineral water.
• Santorini has a delicate sewage system, please do not flush any toilet paper or rubbish, use the special bin provided. Waste bin is just next to the toilet, It may sound odd but last year a guest flushed underwear and expect it to miraculously disappear! Naturally it created a blockage that took two days to fix! Help us keep the sewage system running!
• For HOT water please pull up the ‘BOILER’ levier [RED light ON], wait for max 20 min then turn it OFF & you are ready to take a hot shower!
• SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INDOORS.
• Towels and sheets are to be used only in your studio. Please do not take them to the beach. It requires double the amount of energy and washing powder to clean them of the salt water and sand.
From Jun 15 - Aug 19, 2015 the minimum stay is 1 night.
Elvira's apartment is in the best part of Santorini - Firostefani! Excellent location and views and she is very lovely to deal with! Thanks for having us.
Staying at the Envision Studio was the highlight of our visit to Santorini. As other reviewers mentioned, the view of the setting sun from the terrace is amazing. The studio is cosy, but feels very open with a high ceiling, and the bed is very comfortable. Elvira was a wonderful host, leaving us a nice welcome note and water, juice, and local wine in the fridge. She stopped by to check in and make sure everything was okay. The cleaning fee covers daily cleaning (so be sure not to leave your dirty laundry all over). Firostefani, where the Sensyo apartments are located, is an ideal location for exploring the island. A short walk to Fira town makes it accessible, but Firostefani is less filled with loud tourists, and has plenty of nice restaurants. It is also somewhat centrally located, so exploring the island is easy. It is about 84 steps down to the studio, so pack lightly or be prepared to hire a donkey to help you get your luggage to/from the apartment. Would highly recommend the Envision Studio as a great place to stay on Santorini!
We can't thank Elvira enough for all her help during our stay at the Envision studio. It was my boyfriend's birthday during the stay and she helped organise a personalised cake and a great spot for a meal. The studio itself is compact but has everything you need. The views are incredible and we loved sitting out on the terrace drinking a few Mythos. There are quite steep steps leading down to the studio. A little tricky with suitcases but definitely helps work off all those gyros'. We loved our stay at Sensyo!
Elvira's Sensyo Home in Santorini was truly a highlight of our stay on the island. The location is extremely central, but the studio feels very quiet and private. We spent every afternoon and evening during our stay relaxing on the terrace and watching the sunset.
Elvira was a fabulous host, and gave us excellent food and wine tips. She was very available and made us feel at home. Thanks for the great stay Elvira!
Elvira and Claudia were nice hosts. We got a welcome package in the fridge and Elvira was always available to answer our questions.
The apartment was clean. The view from the terrace and even from the bed is amazing. Unfortunately, we had a few rainy days. Hence, we missed the famous sunset but got amazing pictures from lightning strikes above the caldera.
The window of the Envision studio is next to a walking path. So, be aware that people walk by who can look into the room. But it wasn't a big deal.
We had a wonderful time in the Envision studio. We spent most of our time exploring so we were not there much, but the view and amenities were exactly as described. Only drawback was that the power is controlled by the key card and there were no outlets with direct wiring so we could not charge any of our devices while we were out. Other than that, we would gladly stay here again.
We had a wonderful time at Envision studio in Santorini! Elvira arranged for a taxi to be waiting for us at the airport and take us directly to Ag. Girasimos where she was waiting to escort us down to Envision. There are no roads in that part of Firostefani, so it was great that Elvira came to show us around, although her written directions would have worked just as fine. We had an early check in and Elvira was completely accommodating! There was local wine waiting for us when we arrived and the views are AMAZING! It is very easy to get around from the location and we could not have asked for a better place to stay.

About the Host, Elvira In Sensyo Home
I am a graphic designer most of my life among other creative paths.
Sensyo Home is a big part of my life that I want to share. It helped me "change" path in my life and I wish to share that! My dream is to become an inspirational destination. All this natural beauty around, helps everyone relax, focus and express themselves.
I was working from Sensyo home the first 3 years and comparing my creativity to when I lived in the big city of Athens, where I lived and worked until 2008, I was multiple times productive and efficient!
I am blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Living in a traditional cave home is an experience. I have stayed in all 4 studios the past 7 years and I do have many stories to tell about the "cave" effect & the rejuvenating sleep one has in a cave!
Sensyo Home name came from the word senses…
Each studio has a unique identity that reflects onto one particular sense:
"Envision" the eye - window to caldera
"Cocoon" the touch - round like a big hag
"Soundscape" the ear - waking up to chirping birds
"Gravitate" for the sense we take for granted - sleep so heavily you think parts of you are falling off
The "round" shapes and the fact that you are underground automatically put you in another scenery. You feel protected by the intense sun, wind or cold the moment you step into the cave.
The scenery here helps you focus and has intense energy. Most visitors simply fall in love with it and want to come again and again. Let alone the history of the island going back 36 hundrend years!
Sharing is powerful, we are blessed to live on this beautiful island and blessed to have all this love from travellers across the continent.
You and your loved ones are more than welcome to share!
