Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Good location, the flat is quite near to The Forum metro station. However, Glen is very social and has parties at home which can be a problem as the room is not a proper room (it doesn't have a proper door and there is just a piece of cloth to cover the glass panes in the door), more like an annex of the living room. So I don't mind people having parties and having a good time but I was feeling sick and wanted to be quiet and there was loud music until 1:30 am and smoke in the flat which I felt was not considerate. When I asked him to turn the music off, he didn't want to at first and just gave me ear-plugs.

    Response from Glenn:

Please Jo Anne, please be fair. Your definition of loud music is simply rediculous. I turned off the loud speakers in the living room and closed the doors to the kitchen where we were stting and talking and listening to music quiet and easy. After that I provided you with ear plugs. Don't forget that it's not a hotel room you booked and that there is another person living there too.

And why don't you mention the noise you made yourself when you turned my living room into your private rehearsing room. Did I complain about that even though it was quite anoying? No I didn't. But my neighbours sure noticed it and asked if I had started to play the bassoon. But that was tolerated as opposed to your low level of tolerance.

  • It was ok. Some people should know, when they rent a room in the fifth floor without elevator. "Penthouse" is not quite the correct definition for this flat without balcony, but with a nice view.
Take your mobile and the phone number in case you have to wake Glenn up... the bell was out of function. It was a ... tolerated welcome.
I like the style of the apartment. The standard of cleanness is improvable.

  • Glenn's brilliant top-floor apartment was bright, clean, spacious, and the perfect location for me during my stay in CPH. Glenn is a great host and gave me some tips on things to see and do in CPH that were highlights of my trip. Highly recommend.

  • This is my first booking so I didn't know what to expect. Glenn is very friendly and accommodating and made good conversation and food tips. I loved having the flexibility to come and go since I was touring the city with 2 friends staying nearby. The pics are accurate and the flat has some great views of CPH. You cannot beat this central location and convenience. The shower didn't have hot water on day 2 though. Glenn's dinner guests like to smoke so I should have clarified when I booked. Thanks for everything Glenn!
