FAQ - I get these questions on a regular basis...

Q - Is the area safe?
A - Very safe. There are always lots of people around and it has a very 20s-40s vibe about it.

Q - What Time is Check in?
A - 3:00pm

Q - Can I check in early?
A - Unfortunately not. Often there is a guest the night before and we can't kick them out early.

Q - Can I drop my bags there early?
A - No, but 'Left Luggage' is a great company found at many stations across London, including Liverpool St terminal 10.

Q - Do i have to walk up stairs
A - Yes, one flight to the first floor.

Q- Can I check in Late.
A- Yes we accept check in up till midnight but please inform us of the time you are coming.

Q - What Time is Check Out?
A - 11:00 am

Q - Can I Check out late?
A - No, Sorry

Q- Is it completely Private
A- Yes

Q - Do I have the whole apartment?
A - Yes

Q - Can i have 8 single beds, i don't wont to share.
A - No, What you see is what you get.

Q - Can i have 8 single duvets, i don't want to share.
A - No, What you see is what you get. We provided only double duvets for the double beds.

Q - Where are you then?
A - We live 10 minutes away

Q- Are you situated near the city
A- Yes, we are situated in ZONE 1 which is the centre of the city. Near Tower of London, St Pauls etc. This is the City Centre officially. However, we are in the East End, NOT the West End as most tourists think (Covent Garden, Soho, Oxford st). It is still zone 1 but you will have to catch a short train or bus ride to the West End.

Q - What is the closest Transport
A - OVERGROUND - Shoreditch High Street Station
UNDERGROUND/TUBE - Liverpool St Station OR Old St Station
BUS #8 a few steps away, takes you into Oxford Circus, (stops passed Liverpool St, Bank, St Pauls, Tottenham Crt Road.)

Q - Is there parking?
A - We don't have a private car spot for you. There are two paid car parks on the street, but these are not usable on weekends due to the market. There are free and paid spots around you just may need to search a little.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Great apartment in a great location. Exactly as expected.

  • Company event in London and a group of us thought we'd stay a couple nights and make the most of it. Apartment is great. Even has a fully working kitchen. Great location, comfort and price. Self check-in was so useful especially when you have a packed unpredictable schedule. Highly recommend!! :)

  • The best thing about this flat is the location. Very central.
I did not feel the single yale on each door was sufficient security.
The flat was a bit dirty and I feel that Vince and Alice need to have words with their cleaners.
The TV was pretty dodgy and chose not to work randomly.
Shower in ensuite was broken. Shower door in main bathroom seemed to be insufficient to keep water in basin.
All that said, I would however recommend this flat to others.

  • This flat is in a great location with comfortable sleeping. The apartment was also clean and looks like the pictures. Alice and Vincent were very responsive to emails and inquiries. There were some drawbacks. The flat's amenities are sparse. The dishwasher seems to be permanently broken. There is very little kitchen equipment, for example there is no cutting board, one pan, and one small pot. One of the showers is very difficult to use without getting water everywhere, as the glass half-door is badly designed. The TV remote barely works because of a weak signal. The two couches in the living room were comfortable to sleep on. While suitable covers and pillows were available, unfortunately there was only one double sheet set that has to be split between the two beds, and only one of these sheets is full size and can be properly used as a bottom sheet, the other is smaller and does not quite fit. Nonetheless, the flat location is terrific and we had a wonderful time as two adults and two teenagers.

    Response from Vincent & Alice:

Re, the bedding - as Michelle requested, we provided a double duvet for all four beds/sofa beds so each of the four guests had their own double bed to sleep on. One of the flat sheets was smaller than the other but it was a double and was sufficient for one person on a double sofa bed.

  • Really good atention from our host and great location!!! Confortable flat just to enjoy London!

I (Vincent) am a UK born Australian fashion designer who lives between NYC and London. Had a past life as a professional dancer & actor. Love Kite Surfing and Glitch Hop. Alice is a born and bred Melbournian, a professional dancer, with a love of graphic design. June is my mum, from the North of England, who migrated to Perth Western Australia when i was young. She was a costume designer and now an artist living in Brooklyn. We are all Vegetarians, don't smoke and are not big drinkers but love to have fun. We have travelled a lot together and believe it's all about the journey, not the destination. I like to get lost and discover things off the beaten track.
