  • Loved our too-short stay. The privacy was most enjoyable, the setting magnificent and very peaceful, our hosts gracious and interesting. It was great to feel removed from the hustle and bustle of Miami, yet be within minutes of all that the areai has to offer. Gary and Cindy gave us their unique insights into the history of the area and their home, which they brought from nothing but grass to a fabulous tropical garden, with amazing bamboo plants everywhere. Our accommodations were very comfortable and we felt quite at home. We would not hesitate to stay with them again!

  • My husband and I had a great trip at Cindy's home. It was a comfortable, beautiful setting with plenty of room. The pool & outdoor area are a very relaxing way to start the day. We didn't get into late on the first night and they were very accommodating. The bed was comfortable, clean and we especially appreciated the curtains which kept the room very dark for a good night's sleep!
I would stay again and highly recommend it to others.

  • Wow! What a beautiful and welcoming place this was to stay! The house is beautiful and has a lovely feel. The bedroom was just as shown in the photo and was perfectly clean, as was the bathroom. The bedroom is positioned such that you feel like you have your own little wing of the house. The house is in a very peaceful residential neighborhood, it's so lush and tranquil you wouldn't think you were in a city! And the hosts were fantastic, so welcoming and accommodating, we were made to feel right at home as soon as we arrived and for our whole stay. Cindy offered lovely breakfasts of cereal, yoghurt, coffee, bagels and smoked salmon. We will definitely be recommending this to friends visiting Miami and hopefully we'll be back ourselves in the future!

  • Cindy's place was like a home away from home. I felt totally welcomed and cared for in their beautiful home! I would heartily recommend staying here.

  • Cindy and Rich were lovely hosts and their house was a dream! I highly recommend staying here if you are interested in a bamboo paradise/upscale neighborhood. I took a walk to one of the local parks and even had the chance to visit a great Cuban café. All in all it was five stars. Thanks Cindy and Rich!

  • Imagine, falling asleep to the faint clicking of bamboo meeting in the night breeze, or upon awakening, the first place to rest your eyes is across a small forest of graceful and regal bamboo clumps. It is a sheer exotic experience. This is not a dream, it is a paradise snuggled deep in a quite neighborhood, minutes from anything you might desire. Did I mention how divinely comfy the quarters are- or the supreme welcome that awaits here? Cindy and Gary are extraordinary hosts and do everything to make guests feel invited. Attention to details. Elegantly earthy. We felt completely relaxed instantly.

  • Cindy and Gary are wonderful hosts, very kind and friendly, the room is private and comfortable, and their yard and pool area are just beautiful. I had relaxing breakfasts by the pool. Their neighborhood is safe and a close drive to parks, grocery stores, etc. I would absolutely recommend them to friends.

  • Cindy and Gary have a lovely home. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom was clean. We were welcomed by Gary. He gave us a tour of the fridge, showed me the bikes, and Cindy gave lots of recommendations to help us plan our Saturday in the Miami area.

  • We are still reeling from a wonderful week with Cindy and Gary at their lush tropical paradise in Miami. They are conveniently located a few miles from the U. Miami, the botanical gardens, the ocean, shops, restaurants, and downtown Miami. However, if you are fortunate enough to stay there, you will forget the hassles of a big city as you sit under a fan, by their pool, near their gently cascading waterfall. You will be surrounded by an astounding number of bamboo trees ( reportedly more types than in the botanical gardens) and other beautiful tropical plants.
Cindy and Gary are wonderful hosts--very friendly and eager to help you have the best stay possible. We look very forward to returning to their home in the future.

  • We were welcomed by Cindy and Gary to their lovely home. Lots of beautiful art, plants and character are featured here. Our room was very comfortable as was hanging out with Cindy and Gary. We were treated to an amazing dinner, then breakfast too. Great coffee for a great start on the day! Thank you so very much.
