A perfect stay for our family. The space was wonderful, the hosts friendly and the cleanest place ever! My daughter LOVED their friendly dog, Poppy.
We were blown away by the beautiful view of the glacier from our window! This is truly a treat, as were Trish's apricot muffins and other nice goodies in the kitchen. We would of loved to have time to laze around in the garden and read a book, but we chose to do the Rob Roy hike, which was an amazing experience. We would definitely stay here again!
Our stay at Avalanche B&B was delightful in every way. Trish & Davy warmly welcomed us and did everything possible to ensure a first class experience. The home made treats were well beyond our expectations and enjoyed greatly. The apartment is beautifully appointed to a very high standard and very comfortable and equipped with everything one could possibly need. The setting, of a magnificent garden and view, made it all that more special. And of course the delightful pup - Poppy - provided even more enjoyment. Stay there ! You'll love it.
Had 2 excellent nights at Avalanche Studio. Trish and Dave are very good hosts and we enjoyed all the nice 'extras' that were provided, such as fruit salad, fresh home-baked muffins and biscuits. Plenty of things to see and do, including just sitting enjoying the view.
Trish and Davey's unit was pristinely clean and private. There were special soaps in the bathroom for us to use, even a heated towel rack. Lovely! The view out of the sliding glass doors and the windows was spectacular - mountains, flowers, grassly knolls! There was even a croquet set in the garden (which sadly we didn't get a chance to use). Both Trish and Davey were available and helpful when we needed it; otherwise, they left us to our enjoyment of the space. And, they had two very cute pets who were well-behaved. We do not hesitate one bit in recommending this fabulous stay.
Trish & Davey's B & B was first class! Every aspect of the accommodation was of the highest standard. We were spoiled with homemade muffins & biscuits, a choice of delicious, homemade jams and spreads and a lovely selection of teas. Trish's beautiful garden was a delight! What a perfect place to relax.
Thanks so much Trish & Davey.

Trish and Davey were wonderful hosts with fabulous accommodations for their guests. Trish has an incredible garden and the setting could not be any more beautiful. We were well cared for and wish we had booked more time here. We will definitely try to stay with them again if we are ever so fortunate to return to NZ.
This was the first time i havwe had visited t NZ and We loved staying at Trish's place in Wanaka if only for one night . The accommodation was superb , comfortable and well equipped with delicious food for breakfast . The experience of sitting in the garden in the patio area looking out at the wonderful alpine scenery and snowcapped Mt. Avalanche was just great. We did not want to leave and wished we had have spent more time in Wanaka rather than Queenstown . Trish and her husband were very welcoming we gave us some very interesting insights into the nature of the area. Very Highly recommeded .
We had a great stay in Wanaka at Trish's home. She was very accommodating to all five of us and had excellent tourist information all laid out for us in our room. She also had the best homemade muesli I have ever tasted! I especially enjoyed her beautiful backyard and running about with the sheep just 20 yards outside our bedroom window. I have traveled many places around the world, but Wanaka has to be the most beautiful place I have ever been. I would love to come visit and stay at Trish's bed and breakfast again.
