The Space

Why stay at a hotel when you can stay in a comfortable and adorable cottage in Boone?

The cottage is conveniently located between Blowing Rock and Boone with easy access in every season. We are 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 minutes from Blowing Rock and Tweetsie, 15 minutes from Downtown Boone, and 35 minutes from Banner Elk.

When you come, you will have the entire house to yourself to relax on the wrap around deck or sit by the gas fireplace with a cup of coffee (or tea).

*Please take note: The gas fireplace is disconnected for the season.*

There is plenty to see and explore in the High Country or you are more than welcome to enjoy the serenity of the cottage at Goshen! The neighborhood has a low volume of traffic so you can hear the peaceful sounds of the creek in the backyard. Great place to stay when you come to root for the Appalachian Mountaineers!

The master bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. All of the basic cooking essentials are provided along with comfy linens and towels. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house and a "Smart TV" in the living room. There is plenty of parking in the circle driveway.

Pets are not allowed except for the occasional duck crossing the yard from the creek to the pond.

Some of our favorite places to eat are Coyote Kitchen, Makotos, Hob Knob Farm, and for a fine dining experience go to Bistro Roca in Blowing Rock.

We look forward to having you!

  • Can't say enough good things about our stay! Our kids loved the creek behind the house and we could have spent our entire time just doing that! Very convenient to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed feeling like locals!

The house is very quaint and cozy! We loved the kitchen and ample outdoor space. Having Netflix was a bonus too (must have your own account) for the one rainy morning we encountered. Our kids are ready to come back (and so are we!)!!!!

  • My husband and I wanted a quiet weekend away for a Valentines Day treat. With this adorable house...we got it! The house was clean, fully stocked with kitchen amenities. The decor was updated and beautiful. Colors were very soothing, bed was comfortable. The whole house had a very calming and spa-like feel. I would recommend this house for a cozy mountain get away!

  • We came to Boone to find snow and we found it. There was plenty to explore around the cottage and the kids had fun. We had a really good lunch at Hob Knob Farm Cafe.

The house was well furnished and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The first night was a bit cold until we figured out the heating. After that it was quite comfy.

  • Our stay at the cottage was unforgettable! We loved the creek in the backyard with ducks swimming around and we even had the chance to see a few deers one night roaming around the cottage. Inside and outside the property is spotless and we did not need anything else during our stay. We skied on appalachian ski mountain and it was a very short drive away. The cottage is fully equipped with kitchenware and we had towels and extra bed linens for everyone. The fireplace was disconnected for the season but the electric heaters were more than enough and we could move them around as needed. We loved the fact that the TV had Netflix and we could watch movies and TV shows. The surroundings are beautiful as well and we enjoyed the early morning walks. We would definitely go back for a longer stay! Thanks guys for having the house warm and toasty before we arrived, that was a big plus...

  • The cottage was adorable and Paige and Clint were very helpful when we needed anything. The country side around the cottage is beautiful with the little creek behind the house. The only problem we had was that there was no propane for the gas fireplace which was a little disappointing since it was 9 degrees every morning but we kept warm with the other heaters.
We would definitely go back if we get a chance. It was very cozy!

  • We loved this cottage and will return!! The location is just off the beautiful Parkway between Blowing Rock and Boone, so easy to enjoy nature along the Parkway and trails and go into town. It's so nice to have your own kitchen on vacations. We took walks in the neighborhood and had a no car day for one day, sitting on the deck eating, reading, and birding while listening to the lovely sounds of Goshen Creek and the fall leaves blowing in the wind. A very relaxing weekend. I wish we got to meet Page and Clint! Thanks so much for opening up this lovely home!

  • We had a lovely weekend in this cozy and comfortable cabin. We enjoyed walking the quiet neighborhood and hearing the brook in the backyard. Great kitchen. Thanks Paige and Clint!

  • Quaint, clean, cozy cabin home in a quiet neighborhood close to many amenities. The surroundings were beautiful & we loved the sound of the babbling creek behind the property. One small concern was that we had no cell reception, and there is no phone in the house which could be a safety concern in case of a medical emergency. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay and will likely stay again.
