Interesting things to do just 5-10 min away....

1. BEACHES
From St. Petersburg, the closest and most pristine is also the No. 3 Beach in the continental U.S., Fort DeSoto, a 900-acre county preserve consisting of five islands, seven miles of undeveloped beaches, a camp ground, boat ramps, fishing piers, paved fitness trails and a historic fort. The sugary-white sands of St. Petersburg's 500-foot Gulf-front municipal beach on Treasure Island are certified annually by the National Clean Beaches Council as an outstanding environmentally-friendly "Blue Wave" beach.

2. WALK THROUGH HISTORY
St. Petersburg's downtown streets are lined with hexagon block sidewalks, some of Florida's best examples of Mediterranean-Revival style architecture, and two dozen properties located on the National Historic Register.

3. MUSEUMS
Salvador Dali's surrealistic art works, a spiral staircase resembling a strand of DNA, and a flowing glass dome rising 75 feet in the air? St. Petersburg's newest museum –- the 66,450 square foot tribute to Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali.

4. ART
St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. One of the best museums in the Southeast, the collection also includes a wealth of European, American, pre-Columbian and Far Eastern art, and an exquisite Steuben crystal gallery

5. BLOWN GLASS BY DALE CHIHULLI

(website hidden)

7. TAKE AN ART TOUR
Have you seen St. Petersburg's two-ton lizard observing drivers along I-275's North from its rooftop perch or the dancing dolphins adorning the city’s southernmost water resources tower? With over 30 public art projects throughout the city, experience this and much more on a customized public art tour. (website hidden) or (phone number hidden). DUST OFF SOME ANTIQUES

  • The condo was as nice as the pictures on-line. The view from the patio was lovely, with the wildlife and the dolphins playing in the bay. We would certainly recommend this condo to others. We found Sabina to very friendly and helpful as she left us a list of restaurants and attractions in the area. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils.

  • We had a great stay. Wonderful community, the people were very friendly. Sabina's place has a great view and the place itself is well maintained. We had great communication with Sabina before and during our stay. We highly recommend her condo.

  • We loved our stay at this lovely apartment, it is very nicely decorated and has a lovely view. Sabine was very helpful and accommodating. We recommend this place for a relaxing stay. The pool and cludhouse very nice too!

  • Enjoyed our stay immensely!

  • We stayed 5 days in this beautiful, lovely appartment. Everything was perfect, very clean, the view from the terrace was stunning and relaxing, the condo itself is in a very secured area, the swimming pool was amazing (what a view!) and never crowded, we could see dolphins in the sea while we were in the pool... It was a great experience, we recommend this place for sure!

  • The apartment was exactly as pictured. Very clean, very tidy. The doors in the living room open onto the terrace, which is just about 8 ft. from the water. I took the kayaks out for a spin which was fabulous. The pool on the property is very clean, and right on the water. The perfect place to stay in St. Pete. I highly recommend.

  • We had a great stay at Sabina's. The condo is very chic - as Europeans, we enjoyed her decor very much. Bonus: the waterfront location and the use of two kayaks. We kayak'd into the sunset and then returned home with a view of the moon. Lovely! A gray heron is the local house pet (he lives outside) and we saw dolphins during our morning coffee. The community is gated and really well taken care of. Everyone we chatted with there was helpful and lovely. Sabina too. Thank you!
