The Space

Have you dreamed of staying in a vintage Airstream? Live your dream and come stay with us. Our 29 foot 1973 International Ambassador Airstream is a vintage jewel awaiting your visit! We like to call her "Delta Dawn" because her former owners spent a lot of time touring with her in the Southeastern US. Delta Dawn sleeps 2 comfortably on 1 queen bed. It’s the perfect getaway for a romantic adventure.

Why stay in a hotel or motel when you can have your own Airstream adventure just outside downtown Ashland? This is a vacation opportunity unlike any other available in the Ashland area. You could call this camping, but it’s far from “roughing it.” It’s more like glamorous camping or “glamping!” There's an outside Weber gas barbecue grill, cedar lounging deck and a private, elevated dining patio.

Delta Dawn is a great home base for a visit to the Oregon Shakespeare Theater and all that Southern Oregon offers.
Outside she's polished and shiny, inside she's comfortable and cozy. Delta Dawn is parked in a private, designated area on our 2 acre property and comes with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We are situated just outside the city limits, 3.5 miles from downtown Ashland and a short walk to numerous hiking and biking trails.

We have made sure that you will have all the comforts of home in our Airstream. She includes private bath (toilet and shower), dining area, couch, TV with local reception, WIFI and a kitchenette that includes coffee, tea, basic spices, a refrigerator/freezer, sink, gas stove top, blender, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans and kitchen utensils. There is heating, air conditioning and hot running water. The Airstream is fully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay including fresh linens and towels. You will have your own key so come and go as you like.

Sleeping accommodations include a bedroom with a new memory foam queen sized bed. The bed is dressed with luxury linens. You will have plenty of room to store your belongings in the wardrobe style closet. There's even a full length mirror on the closet door.

The bathroom is compact but functional. It has a full size toilet and a stand-up shower with plenty of hot water, shampoo, conditioner and bath gel.

Since Delta Dawn is compact and cozy, she's not appropriate for families with children, and sorry no pets or smoking.

So get out your "glamping" gear and come on! We'd love to have you stay with us soon.

The 1973 Airstream is totally remodeled with comfort in mind.

    Response from Marty:

I would have liked to have known the Airstream smelled of gas. We checked it and it happens the pilot light in the oven was turned off. An easy fix. Thanks for the feedback.

  • My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVED our stay at the airstream. Marty and Michael were wonderful hosts. They were both very warm and friendly. The airstream itself is gorgeous and immaculate. Sitting outside at night was fantastic. It was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable! I enjoyed looking out the big window above the bed at night, as the stars were so vibrant.

We wished we could have stayed longer. We will most definitely be back!

  • Staying in a vintage Airstream in beautiful Ashland was an awesome experience. Our hosts Marty & Michael were warm and welcoming. Whatever minor fixes needed to done - they were right there. We enjoying grilling and relaxing on the patio - everything was clean and compact. The area was quiet and we got to see a few deer passing through the area. Thank you both for a great time - we hated to leave and drive back home.

  • Marty has been very accommodating for our arrival. As we arrived later than the agreed time, she kindly coordinated to have her husband welcoming us. She kept in touch during our stay via email to make sure we did not miss anything.

The place is adorable, very well decorated and extremely functional. We sadly could not use the BBQ outside but the sound of the rain on the airstream is amazing! The location is ideal: few steps from the forest for a walk and close to the downtown area for dining/shopping.

We will definitely stay there for our next trip to Southern oregon

  • Ashland is a very enchanting town, and staying in the Delta Dawn will elevate your stay to a whole new level. Staying in the Airstream made our trip to Ashland extra special. The wonderful hosts Marty & Michael have done an exceptional job to tastefully update and decorate the Delta Dawn, while preserving it’s great vintage feel. The sofa, bed, kitchen and all the extra towels, pillows, blankets made it very comfortable stay. They are fantastic hosts and took the time to walk us through the trailer in and out and make us feel right at home. It really felt like we were staying with family. The location was great! It is just outside of town, so every day we saw deer walking through the yard, yet it was only a 10 minute drive to downtown theaters, restaurants, and shops. It was really the best of both worlds! Mornings we spent sipping coffee on the deck soaking up the sun and in the evening we would return to patio with a glass of wine to enjoy the amazing star filled sky. A few recommendations: Breakfast at Morning Glory or Brothers, dinner at Smithfields, and also check out Weisinger’s Winery just down the road from the Delta Dawn.

  • Lovely place, perfect for 2! It was so nice to look out at trees and have deer wander through and still be convenient to the plays, restaurants etc. in Ashland. Enjoyed sitting out in the patio areas. Marty and Michael were great hosts, very helpful and when some storms came through one day Marty called to make sure everything was okay and it was, we were just reading and enjoying the sound and smell of the rain! The trailer is nicely set up with all the basics. Thanks Marty and Michael!

  • I really enjoyed staying in this vintage Airstream; such a treat. It was exactly as expected, you will not be disappointed. Along with a good location and quality accommodations, the hosts were super nice. It was my 40th birthday and they made me a homemade blackberry cobbler with hand-picked blackberries! I would definitely stay here again.

  • We spent two wonderful nights here and fell in love with vintage Airstream RVs...Marty and Michael were delightful hosts and their place is in a beautiful neighborhood (we saw deer, horses, chickens, humming birds...). The Airstream is stylish inside and out. You can have your morning coffee outside on the cute patio right in front surrounded by the sound of the pretty water fountain. There is a lot to do in and around Ashland, and you definitely have to have breakfast at "Morning Glory" downtown at least once:)
