Victorian garden apartment located in ideal Mission setting - quiet tree-lined street minutes away from restaurants, clubs, galleries and Mission culture. Designed and furnished expressly for those desiring the privacy and luxury of a good hotel combined with the spirit of San Francisco, this apartment is ideal for those wanting the comforts of home in an amazing location to venture out for city exploring.
The Mission District is one of the sunniest neighborhoods in San Francisco and convenient to downtown, the Castro District, Moscone Center, the Design District, as well as Dolores Park and AT&T park.
Ground floor of a historic Victorian from the 1890's, this large studio apartment has a private entrance, hardwood floors, beautifully mosaic-ed bathroom, high ceilings and period details. It is charming and fully furnished with an organic cotton queen bed, luxurious bedding, plenty of storage space and a large, cheerful, and fully equipped eat-in kitchen. For a studio apartment, this is on the large side, with a wide and long hallway that serves as office space.
The entry hallway has a couch that folds into a twin sized mattress. It's a tight fit, but perfect for that third person, or if quests prefer not to share the queen bed.
A beautiful garden and historic carriage house is right out your kitchen window and there is shared washer and dryer if required. The apartment is stocked with maps, guidebooks, and local magazines.
24th Street Bart (Bay Area Rapid Transit, SF's Subway) is a ten minute walk away, and a bus line that goes straight downtown is one block away. Parking is street only, but you'd be staying in one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the country, and have access to multiple forms of public transportation.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the unit.
First and foremost: respect our neighbors! The building is 3 units, and the other 2 are have full-time residents. We're all a great bunch in the building, but please be appropriately quiet, especially at night.
Please, absolutely NO smoking in the apartment or back garden.
It was a little outside the main drag for the Mission District, but the cab rides were very reasonable so it wasn't a big deal. The room was nice and tidy when we arrived.
There are no real mirrors to use when getting dressed/ready (kind of a problem when you are a girl!) and the back patio is not super clean or accessible for people to use.
Also it lists it as 1 queen bed and 1 "fold out"-- just a heads up, the fold out is super uncomfortable!
Also the shower is pretty terrible... if you have long and/or thick hair, there is no way you will be able to wash it. I actually had to make an appointment at the local Dry Bar to get my hair washed/done!
Amazing apartment in the Mission with a cute back yard. The decor was adorable and the host provided my friend and myself with everything we could possibly need! Thank you Brian!
It was perfect, thank you Bryan! Thank you for being helpful with our (website hidden) delivery. Much appreciated! Really enjoyed all the wonderful restaurants in the area of your apartment.
I enjoyed staying in your apartment and I'd definitely come back next time I'm in SF!
It was warm and inviting, very clean, a super comfortable bed, great location, I walked everywhere and it's located in a nice quiet street.
Bryan is great, addressed my requests, answered my questions.
Thank you :-)
The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. It's a little dark due to lack of natural light but comfortable and cosy. The kitchen is great, if you're eating in. Location is good — a quiet, leafy street in The Mission with everything you need within walking distance. Bryan was a superb host. Very communicative and helpful.
I loved staying at Bryan's place. It is in a quiet and safe street, but not too far away from everything you need. I liked that I felt like somebody living there and not like a tourist. If I have the chance, I will def. stay again.
I live in one of the greatest homes in the Mission. This house is full of artists, activists, and people who do good work for the world, so if you stay here you are in fabulous company. I am currently working on my nursing degree and I am managing this apartment to help make it happen.
