  • We had a great weekend in this cozy cabin in the woods. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to spend a relaxing weekend away in a semi-primitive cabin. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we had no problems getting settled even with them out of town.

  • Staying at Linda and Ken`s cabin was amazing. I was there in september and the weather was great. The cabin is simple but facilitates all needs. The shower is outside which is amazing. It feels like taking a shower in the forrest. The cabin is located next to a quiet road in the middle of the forrest. But not isolated from the world of livings. A coffee shop and farmer market is on a 10 minute drive distance. Linda and Ken are incredible kind and welcoming.
If I would not haved lived at the other side of the Atlantic I would go there more often. I can highly recommend a stay.

Hi! I am a Retired Eugene 4jTeacher and current UO instructor. My husband, Steve, is a builder/carpenter. We are both naturalists and trained in outdoor education and connections with the natural world. For the last decade, through our own school, Campsight, we have shared instructional experiences and inspiring adventure at our precious lands here in Walton on Chickahominy Creek. We are continued students of the wilderness that surrounds us daily in this incredible Coast Range environment. It is our passion to share it's wonders, beauty, and the revitalizing magic. It is our hope that those who find us via the Bed and Breakfast option, will (re)discover the simple joys of earth-time and nature immersion! *ARIZONA Addition! Our Rimrock canyon county home is now offered only on AIR BNB! Linda is an Arizona Native and Steve is a former NAU Student who conducted research for Museum of (website hidden) in extensive Grand Canyon Studies. Too, he has been a river guide on the Colorado River. Linda is a 4th generation Arizonan. We deeply honor and respect the sacredness of this natural WONDERland!! OH! And Steve, along with help of Linda's talented family built this home with Much Love, Skill, and lots of labor! It shows ;-)
