Magaly and Christophe were very hospitable hosts. Christophe reached out a few days prior to our arrival to coordinate arrival time and parking, ensuring a smooth check in process. He even left work early to welcome us personally into their home. The room and bathroom were neat and clean. The apt is in a wonderfully convenient location, one block from Berri-UQAM and about a 15 minute walk to the festival grounds. We would definitely stay here again!
I really like staying with Christophe and Magaly. The apt is very cozy and neat, and very well located a few blocks from everything: the jazz festival, the village, the plateau, etc, and there are several Bixi bike stations around as well. They gave me good recommendations and made accessible calendars of events and a guide. They are very nice people and I fully recommend staying with them. Thanks again!
Where do I start? Magaly and Christophe are TRULY the embodiment of how very special using Airbnb can be! They were the most wonderful, supportive, helpful, gracious and friendly couple you could EVER want to stay with!! Christophe and I "solved all the world's problems together" (LOL!). And they LOVED my enthusiasm for Montreal.
**Everything** about staying with Christophe and Magaly was wonderful! If you stay in Montreal, please, please stay with them. :) I really hope to stay in contact with them for a long time! I would stay with them again for SURE the next time in Montreal. And their place has the absolute most ideal location! It's central to everything you want to do in Montreal without being in a noisy area.
And the room was VERY clean and comfortable. Some others reviewing here mentioned cat hair, and there might have been a little bit of cat hair on a chair, but it's impossible to have a cat-hair-free place, and the bed was spotless! The cat mainly likes to perch on the window sill, anyway. :)
Christophe and Magaly take great care of their guests in every possible way; they're the BEST!!
Magaly and Christophe were great hosts, the room is very comfortable and the location is amazing, a few minutes away from every interesting place in Montreal. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
Stayed 2 nights. Room was close to metro. 8 mins walk away. Towels provided. Friendly hosts and breakfast was offered but not taken. Owners had a cat which wasn't a problem just cat hairs in the room.
Lovely bilingual couple with well behaved but currently fur-shedding cat :-) They will help with useful recommendations for local poutine cuisine, farmers market, laundry etc. Last stop of airport bus, finding the apartment was fuss free (especially with (website hidden) maps) even in the rain. Had great time, would again!
So Magali and _Christophe are so warmful people smart and respecful. I recommand them seriously. Thx again and don t forget if you need to go to West indies so make me a sign
Merci to Christophe and Magaly for being great hosts! The flat is very nice and conveniently located in the centre of downtown Montreal, a few steps away from the main bus station and to the terminus of the airport bus, and close to the lively Rue Saint Denis/ Quartier Latin. The room has a comfortable bed, desk and is spacious and functional, so you will quickly feel like a Montrealais yourself.
I had a great time staying at Magaly and Christophe's place. Really central location close to the subway and lots of great restaurants on Rue St Denis and really cool hosts :)
Magaly and Christophe were lovely hosts!
They were very attentive with their communication and ready to answer any questions we had. Their apartment was clean and at a very convenient location (lots of restaurant options, public transit, all within a few city blocks). Having a friendly cat in the apartment was an extra bonus. :) I'd recommend them if anyone was looking for a place to stay in Montreal.
I did hear some noises from the neighbours next door, but it didn't disturb my friend and I during the night. Just a head's up to anyone who is a very light sleeper.
