This 100 year old farmhouse offers charming original details and modernized convenience for an unparalleled off-grid experience. Set on 59 acres on the end of a beautiful country road, you'll experience true privacy and serenity. It includes central heating and cooling, a wood stove, Viking range, stocked kitchen, and a washer / dryer. The porch overlooks a spring-fed pond, a long mountain view, and millions of incandescent fireflies. This is a place to slow down and recharge in nature.

The space
The house has four bedrooms, each with access to a shared half bathroom with one other room. There are two queen sized beds and two full, making comfortable accommodation for six adults.

The full bath is on the main floor, with two half baths on the second floor.

Though the space is perfect for unplugging, if you need to be plugged in we've got your back with high speed Starlink wifi throughout the house (extending even to the pond!).

Our ideal way to spend time at Hathaway Pond is to read, sunbathe, swim, cook and grill, paint, and play games (which the house has plenty of). For karaoke enthusiasts, our portable karaoke machine can be wirelessly connected to the TV for some good times.

Other things to note
Our home is very cozy during the winter, but can't run without wood heat between October and April. You should be fine operating the wood stove, but if you're not, or if you have special considerations around temperature, please consider a more traditional rental.
