Een hartelijke ontvangst , Michelle is goed bereikbaar voor huishoudelijke zaken en/of vragen
Thanks for everything Mitchell, I had a very pleasant stay at your place! On the whole I appreciated the privacy !
Ambience: Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!! Or my expectations were too high. The apartment had a foul smell. I had inquired before I booked about the air circulation and Michelle lied that it has
central air but looks like fresh air has never been let since a few years now. Airbnb should let the customers get out of the contract when the owner lies.
It has 2 beds one has a over the window air cooler. Only that room is livable. Rest all room are bad and
poorly maintained. I do have photo proofs for all that I say. I wish I had a device that could capture smell. Living room has a fan and a cooler which shuts off every 10 mins.
Yeah, every 10 mins you need to get up and start it again..oh what a convenience!! Other bedroom is even horrible. Please dont call it bed, its a open futon that crack every time you take a breath.
The bed and its covering was from 1900s and was stinky. That bedroom neither had a fan or an easy access electric outlet. It had 2 heater. Yup, that helps in hot hot summers.
Cleanliness: Oh! where to start. We took our shoes off soon after we entered the apart. The whole floor was sticky and dusty. I had to call Michelle to get this cleaned up. It was done, but
man o man, these are a few things,as an owner, need to take care of personally. Also no indication was given to us to to lock the apartment on your way out. yeah, I hoped one key and one key hole, but apparently not. its a maze in itself. And to kitchen, man there were lip stick marks on cups and food crumbs on the plate. We had to clean up overselves. So much for a $500 for a 3 day stay. Basic stuff like trash bags were not there and believe me we had to take our trash out. Needless to stay I aint going back.
Community: its a ok community. not great, not bed...my car was safe for whole 2.5 days... Restaurants nearby are bad though.
Commute: As other said its a nice 10 mins walk to subway.. no issues..
overall : Half (1/2) stars for the community and commute. This apartment deserves negative rating..
This place was a great value for the location and room. It was perfect for our family of four to sleep while discovering the city. We were only a 15-20 min walk to a couple of different stations and a half hour ride on the subway to Manhattan and Coney Island.
The beds were comfortable and enjoys having Netflix and a large TV to relax in the evenings after spending the day walking.
There are several restaurants and markets close by and a variety for everyone - Indian, Caribbean, Mexican, etc. Most of them deliver but I would recommend getting out and walking the neighborhoods and experiencing the large diversity and beautiful architecture of the Crown Heights area.
Thanks for a great stay!
This apartment was amazing. It was very clean and nicely furnished. It was very comfortable as well. Michelle was also very nice.
In my opinion the location was perfect. The Nostrand stop is 5 min away and it's very convenient to get to Manhattan.
I had a lovely stay at Michelle's. She is a nice and kind person. She was helpful and always smiling. The place is great! The master bedroom is super nice and the second bedroom smaller but also great. Location is good too.
