About This Listing
Enjoy a night, a week or a month in Santa Fe. Ground floor condo with your own private bedroom and private bath. Small dog in residence with the owner. Pool, hot tub and sauna. Use of kitchen, living room and washing machine/dryer. WIFI. Short drive to Plaza, Colleges and museums.
I do have a job, so I leave quite early in the morning, but I am very quiet. Your breakfast will have to be self serve, cereal, eggs, fruit, coffee or tea.
My neighborhood is very quiet, grassy lawn in between building. Perfect for reading outside or walking. Behind the condo is a trail for biking and walking. It is a few miles to the shops and restaurants so a car is a big plus. But there are taxi's and buses.
I believe my guest room and home is a oasis, filled with books and a comfy bedroom and bath.
Safe off the street parking.
Not many rules, just a respectful attitude.
Cheryl Marie was a gracious and generous host. She communicated quickly, left us a welcome note and information about places to visit, provided tea and coffee in the morning, and even brought us home some desserts from her Thanksgiving dinner!
The room was clean and comfortable. It has its own bathroom with clean towels and amenities.
Cheryl Marie is a warm, welcoming and fun host! Her condo is in a great location - just a few minutes from downtown Santa Fe and right next to the bike path. She was very helpful providing plenty of information about what to see and do in the area. This woman is a major world traveler and we loved sharing experiences. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I would recommend Cheryl Marie's to anyone - she has great energy and a gift for hospitality!
Cheryl is a great host. She was very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. She made sure everything was in order for the perfect stay and her apartment felt like home. She was very flexible and responsive.
Cheryl, it was a pleasure meeting you.
Cheryl's place was a home away from home for us. The room was very cozy and comfortable, with an incredible array of books to read, if that is your pleasure. And there were all sorts of thoughtful little details put into the very clean and delightful private bathroom. She provided yummy breakfast options like toast, yogurt, berries, coffee, and tea, which we felt at home making for ourselves each morning. She also thought to leave us a very helpful folder filled with ideas for restaurants and things to do in Santa Fe.
Her apartment complex backs up to a great urban trail.
Cheryl was just generally a delight to be around: friendly and hospitable, as well as aware of giving us our space.
From the moment I walked into Cheryl's place until the moment I left, 7 days later, Cheryl, a speed knitter, was cheerful and friendly. She allowed me plenty of personal space and was always available for recommendations, questions and conversation. The bedroom had a lavender scent and a window that lets plenty of sunshine in. The bed is warm and cozy and surrounded by an outstanding collection of books. There is plenty of room and hangers in the closet. The bathroom has a little basket filled with toiletries, toothbrush, toothpaste, sunscreen etc. And the shower head-- huge! Cheryl offered the use of her kitchen, utensils, breakfast items and washer/dryer! She told me not to leave with dirty laundry. Cheryl introduced me to her lovely friends and always asked how my day was.
Although I didn't get to spend much time visiting with Cheryl, I can confidently say I think she is an awesome lady! She has a very inviting personality and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in her home. Her home is very cute and decorated with a lot of character; I enjoyed all the photos, pictures and the Irish influence. Oh and the sheep! I loved the sheep! :) She offered much more than was ever expected, we both felt very at home in our room and I slept better than I have in a long time. I would definitely recommend staying with Cheryl while in Santa Fe. Thanks so much for everything Cheryl!
