We only came for one night en route to Drance, but we wish we stayed for longer. The house is big, the village is quaint, and it would be great to spend a couple of days exploring the area. The house is big and comfortable. We got a bit lost on the way (our own fault), and reception wasn't great in the village, but David was still graciously there to check us in even though we arrived much later than we said we would. Couple of notes: Best to get groceries before arriving, and Wifi password is on the fridge.

This is a unique and very special house. David has lovingly renovated an old stone home so that it has retained it's character but has all the modern touches, such as lovely bathrooms and we'll equipped kitchen. Fortunately, we read the reviews and knew to come with groceries. However, we were treated to fresh vegetarian a man when we were admiring his garden. We had a quiet day and walked around this village, admiring the old houses, lovely vegetable gardens and the peaceful atmosphere. Since the house is very close th the bar, we went over and had a beer while people gathered, visited with one another. I can no recommend this house enough - it is very special and I know will stand out for us forever. Thank you, David!!

This one of the best places that we stayed in Spain. The home is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was great. All appliances worked well. The check in and check out was extremely easy. David is a wonderful host. I highly recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful stay that is off the beaten path.

The Hous is really rustic in an tiny village. Nothing to distract you. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. Burgos is a fantastic city, at about 20 minutes drive. I would advise to get groceries before you get there, so you can settle in right away.

David was not present upon arrival, but the key was at the appropriate place. The house was not heated so it was very cold inside. Because there was only a fireplace and a small electric heater, we could not get the house warm. This house is not really suitable to stay during the winter months. It is a very charming house to stay during the summer months.

David was very helpfull and nice during our stay. We only had a minor technical problem, that we didn't receive an SMS back with the wifi code (it turned out to be sent as iMessage by David which we couldn't receive due to the lack of Internet). The house was nice and clean and the beds we slept in were comfortable. We only stayed for one night so we didn't really use all the facilities in the house. If you are sensitive to smoke we'd like to point out that you can smell it in the house (due to the fireplace we did not use).

This was a very Nice experience. A beautiful old house, with everything you need. We were just with two persons, so the house was very big for us. The village is very small and it situated in beautiful surroundings. David is a nice person, communicates very good and strict. Very good value for money!
