First floor apartment a little ways back from Port Republic road; perfect for what we needed. We brought our two dogs with us, and because of this we did not all fit in one bed (each of the 3 bedrooms has a full in it), but that just meant we each had a room for the night! There was a coffee maker(plus coffee grounds and filters), a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and all the cooking and cleaning supplies in case we needed it, which I appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend the location!

This place is in the perfect location for a visit to JMU. After many hotel stays this summer, it was great to have the extra space, kitchen, two bathrooms, etc. It was also nice that we had access to a washer/dryer (and detergent available.) We stayed during the summer so parking was available right near the unit. This may not be the case when school is in session.

Very nice apt with plenty of room for our large family. We used the apt as a place to stay so we could have fun a massanutten resort during the day. It was only about a 20 min drive and very convenient. The apt is just off of the expressway which was a huge plus. Another huge plus was having the washer dryer! We were able to wash and dry all of our waterpark clothes before hitting the road again. Definitely recommend.

Sandra, Shanti (our dog) and I moved to Harrisonburg, Virginia about a year ago.
Originally, I am from Argentina and Sandra is from Colombia. We met in Miami, got married in 2010 and lived our first 5 years together in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.
A few years ago, on one of our road trips, we drove by the city of Harrisonburg and felt in love with the place: peaceful, beautiful, and really charming. We began dreaming of living in this area. Finally, in September, 2015 we decided to make the move. We are happy to report that we can't be happier; ever since we arrived, we have felt welcomed by the kindest people we've ever met.
Sandra works in the education field and I recently obtained my Realtor license, hoping to help others to fall in love with this small but truly charming city.
Skyline drive and Massanutten Resort are our favorite destination with various fun and relaxing activities ranging from hiking, skiing, snowboarding, splashing at the water park, or simply relaxing by looking at the breathtaking landscapes that surround us.
We are always looking forward to our next road tripping adventure with our dog on board. Our most recent trip was to the state of Vermont, where we stayed in a picturesque cabin during winter time and even drove a little farther north, crossing borders to Canada (which we have already visited twice driving from FL). I know, crazy for some people, delightful for us.

Enough about us and back to business. We live 10 mins away from the apt. and will be more than happy to help you plan your trip and provide you with any info you may need during your stay.
