Enjoy the comfort of home in this spacious RV with rustic mountain charm, set along the scenic Illinois River. Wake to stunning sunrise views over the meadow, where ducks, deer, and geese often wander by. Conveniently located near canoe and kayak rentals, mountain bike trails, and whitewater parks both upstream and downstream. Guests may also fish from the high banks at their own discretion.
The space
As you arrive you will see a big sign at entrance called Karens Kabin's. The property offers a safe place for families to enjoy the great outdoors and rent Airbnb cabins and rv's. Currently we have 2 RV's and 1 cabin. You will notice a sign with parking for RV.
We offer 10 acres of land to walk your animals and enjoy river front view and fishing.
Guest access
When you arrive you will see 2 RVS Roomy RV ( Majestic RV behind the Roomy RV) You will have a designated area for your use as our guest. You will have your own picnic table/grill (We don’t provide charcoal) and fire pit. We do provide firewood bundles for a fee of $10. You can walk along the river if you choose to. Please Park at designated areas for RV parking. (Gravel parking lot)
Other things to note
Gypsey Canoe and Kayak rentals is next door.
Front gate is always open. For check-in, it’s self check in (Host will give instructions upon arrival through message app) ..Please consider leaving a tip in tip box for stocking supplies.
