I never left Anita's place, I reserved for another week. The room is cosy, bright, big, with windows and warmth. I can see my car parked on the road from my window and start my car up sometimes so the battery won't go dead, I use public transportation. There is good parking and the road is wide. The bathroom is modern and clean. Wifi connection is good for streaming video. The place is a half a block from the bus stop. My unit is private at the end of the hall upstairs on the 3rd floor. The space has been quiet and I get a good nights sleep. I like it here.
Absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend Anita and her place. Thank you so much Anita. You made it very easy for me to settle in.
Anita was a great host. Very helpful whenever I needed her. The neighborhood was actually more or less all right. There is a nice park across the street.
Had a very productive and fun time in Philly thanks to Anita and her home! She was very helpful, accommodating, easy to communicate with, and flexible. The room was comfortable and clean. Wifi connection is fast and stable. There are quite a few rooms being rented out and there is only one shared bathroom, but this was never a problem while I was there. There is some ongoing refurbishment that will make the place even nicer once this is complete. The area felt safe at all times, there is a nice park across the street, and some good bus/subway connections into University City or downtown Philly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to stay here, too.
Anita was a wonderful hostess. She showed me around and made me feel welcome. The neighboorhood was lively as well. There were people gathered across the street listening to live music. I actually had plans with friends that night but wished I could have gone to check it out. There were several interesting airbnb-ers staying as well. I was only there for a night but hope to stay longer next time I'm in Philly!
Anita is a great lady, the month I spent here was reasonably comfortable as I transitioned to the new city life, and she was always willing to give some tips and pointers for places to see around town. The building was undergoing some remodeling during my stay however.
I had a very very pleasant stay with Anita. The room was very simple but perfectly adequate, especially for the very reasonable rate. She was most helpful to me and was happy to try and do so. Thanks, Anita!

I am originally from New Jersey, and I am an artist, so I enjoy looking at art and creating it. I also love reading, writing, thrift shops, antiques, dancing, and music. That is just to name a few.
My father was a neurologist, originally from Italy, so I grew up with an appreciation of different cultures, as well as, a passion for art and science. My mother was an American artist, which made for an interesting life.
