I supply clean linens and towels, and am happy to be a happy, helpful friend without going into "maid" territory. While you're here, your room and bathroom are your own and your privacy is respected. You have your own key which is room-specific while also having access to the rest of the house during reasonable hours. I request that you use a laundromat less than a mile away for your personal items. If you bring a car, you have your own parking spot right in front of our house. Quiet time is between 9PM and 7AM. Your safe conduct and self-care is expected while using the pool (at your own risk).
We have a small terrier with hair, not fur. I find him hypoallergenic. We can keep him away if you don't like him, but he's a well-trained dog who most people find appealing.
another view of your bathroom with door to your private room, both rooms lock, as well as your door to outside.
I loved staying at Beth's house. The place was clean, quiet, and welcoming. While I was able to hang out in the house at any time, I had my own room with attached full bathroom and a separate entrance so I could enter and exit at any time without bothering the family. They were kind, inviting, and I would definitely stay here again (and probably will since it's so close to my best friends' place!)
Location was perfect - close to beaches, hiking trails and the city.
The room is a porch; flimsy construction; slim walls; you can hear every conversation.
The house is at the junction of san carlos way, san andreas dr n san marin - so it is super loud from 4AM through 2AM with traffic.
Parking in front is tricky if you have small kids, dogs with traffic all the time.
The swimming pool pump is right in front which runs all day from 9AM to dusk.
Beth is judgemental with her daughters and will carry it over to daughter-like-guests.
I didn't feel comfortable using their kitchen which i only accessed to make coffee and warm up food.
Perfect for the dogs n I - close enough to hiking trails, beaches and the city. Doing it again.
The room is very clean and spacious and Beth is an amazing host! Everything as described. Wish I had more time to explore surroundings, but was busy attending CTI workshop.
The room is actually a porch. It is wonderfully positioned in the home with the private bathroom in between their home and the porch/room, which enhanced the privacy. If you are sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs (Beth kindly gave me a pair). Because of the conversion of porch to room every single noise can be heard throughout the night, including wind. This place was Very Clean and the bed is SOOO Comfortable! The daughters are Wonderful, and Beth was very nice (Dad was traveling, so I did not meet him). A great experience for my first AirBNB!
I had a family event in Navato and needed a place to stay. The attached room on Beth's house was by far the best option. Beth and her family were very accommodating and kind. The private entrance was a great perk and the room was spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend this location if you need to stay in Navato.

About the Host, Beth
We've been having a great time hosting and traveling with airbnb. I am a former solo world traveler who is now a homebody/mom who loves to cook and putter around my house and garden and take care of my family. I also teach and do yoga and work part-time as an announcer/operator on a public radio station in San Francisco. Two teenagers live in the house and are amazingly cooperative, delightful individuals who enjoy school and friends. We also have a little fluffy white dog who is hypoallergenic (at least for me). I hope you will consider coming to stay with us!
