It's only a hop, skip, and a jump to get downtown across the beautiful Champlain bridge and along the scenic parkway.
Parking is available on street in the summer and spots are available in the winter (based on availability).

The neighbourhood is quiet and surrounded by green space so the air is very fresh. You will hear birds chirping in the morning, not traffic!
You're right next to the Moore Farm Estate, which is great for long walks and watching the sun set.
Public transit is the STO bus system (Gatineau) combined with the OC Transpo bus system (Ottawa). Day passes can be purchased for $8.50 and are valid on both sides of the river.
The STO bus stop at the end of the street is #5960 and goes directly to #5409 (right outside parliament hill & the tourist information center). You can map this out using the STO travel planner. The travel time is ~25 mins incl. walking.
Other Things to Note
Dogs are welcome (sorry, no cats) so long as they are well behaved and cared for during the stay. They are not permitted on furniture. Please advise if a pet will be joining you - there is a small additional charge ($25) for cleaning.
