This is an older home that has been remodeled and is designed to house a large number of people to split the rate. The calendar is up to date on the rating, and additional guest fees do apply. Plenty of parking saves a lot of money on parking fees!! as well as being able to cook here and utilize free wifi!!
Rent this wonderful three bedroom, two bathroom home that is three blocks from Cowboy Stadium, 1/2 mile from Texas Rangers Stadium, and One mile from Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. During events at the two stadiums, bicycle taxis are plentiful for those that don't want to walk.
This home is in a very quiet community with large shade trees, a large backyard and clean streets. It has all the comforts of home! There is a front porch that faces the field of a Private school that is nicely landscaped as well as a back patio that is private with a comfortable garden area.
This is an older home with many updates. The home sleeps 11-12 people comfortably (King bed, Queen bed, Twin bed with Trundle, Queen roll-away bed in couch, Queen futon in living room, and 2 additional twin beds in the washroom/utility room. There is a ceiling fan in every room, as well as a window a/c unit and ceramic heating unit in the utility room for extra comfort. Every room has a strip plug outlet for charging of phones and electronics. There are two bathrooms, one with a full size tub and shower with two shower heads. The other has a 48" wide walk in shower. There is a tankless water heater, so no cold showers for anyone!!! 2 blow dryers & a hair straightener are provided and light toiletries are provided.(shampoo, creme rinse, q-tips, cotton balls, makeup remover pads) There is central air and heat. An iron and ironing board are also provided. Each room has a power strip available for charging of cell phones or additional plug in needs.
The home is artfully decorated. The kitchen has an electric stove, full refrigerator, microwave, 4 pce. toaster, a coffee pot, Keurig one cup coffeemaker, toaster oven, blender and waffle maker. Filtered water dispenser is available, so need to spend extra cash on bottled water. Cable TV and Wireless Internet are provided, as well as a DVD/CD player. The patio area has a cooler to ice down drinks, two sitting areas with tables and chairs...also a charcoal bar-b-que grill to grill your burgers or steaks on...or whatever you please! A radio boom box is available for use on the patio, as well.
Although in a quiet community, you are only blocks away from lots of shopping and restaurants. You are in the heart of the entertainment district of Arlington. 15 minutes from DFW Int'l airport and 25 minutes from Dallas Love Field. You are in the center of the DFW Metroplex, with easy access to all the sites in both Dallas and Ft. Worth.
An attached garage ensures security for your vehicle. There is plenty of room to park up to 5 midsize vehicles on the property (one in garage, two in driveway and two on street under the shade of a large tree)
There is a Walmart that has a grocery store three blocks away, and a Walgreens two blocks away, as well as a carwash just around the corner. Retail stores include Bed, Bath and Beyond, Payless shoe stores...Walmart, Chico's, Old Navy, Office Depot, etc....the list goes on. TGI Fridays, Pappadeaux, Pappasitos, Joes Crab shack, Birra Poretti's, Sushi Zone, Buffalo Wildwings, Hooters, Redneck Heaven, are just a few of the restaurants in the vicinity.
There is even an Arlington Visitors center right next to Rangers Stadium for those needing more information.
You won't be disapointed with the location of this home!!
Guests will have access to a full size washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets provided. There are four additional lounge chairs to be used in the patio/garden area. A full size garage that fits a small to medium sized vehicle. Access to use of full size refrigerator, full size microwave, Keurig and regular coffee pots (coffee provided) , a Toaster oven, blender and toaster, as well.
Interaction with guests
I prefer to meet all my guests at the home to check them in and give helpful information about the home. After the first or second day in the home, I always check in to make sure that everything is going smoothly. Myself, or my husband are ALWAYS available when someone is in the home, should any special needs or circumstances arise.
Other things to note
There is a large, fenced in backyard available, just off the back patio/garden area.
NO SMOKING allowed inside the home.
If sheets and towels are soiled, please notify owner of need for more immediately.
Please re-use towels if possible.
Please keep noise level to a minimum as we want to be respectful of the residents close by.
NO FEMININE PRODUCTS IN TOILET AT ANY TIME, PLEASE. (this house has an older plumbing system, so please dispose of in trash can.)
Multiple sets of keys available, as well as parking passes available since the streets are blocked off to through traffic during stadium events. (There will be a 25.00 fee for lost keys.)
Only Medium to small dogs are allowed and must be approved by owner. No cats, birds or other animals allowed.
Pets are not allowed on the furniture at any time during the stay.
Please do not leave pets unattended in the backyard for long periods of time. If pet escapes backyard, owner assumes no liability.
A non-refundable pet deposit of 75.00 is required to bring pet (per pet). This deposit pays for extra cleaning of dander, fogging for fleas and cleaning of excrement in yard areas.
If damage to home occurs due to chewing or the pet relieving themselves inside including urine or feces, a portion of the Refundable Security Deposit will be forfeited. (**this is not covered in the non-refundable pet deposit of 75.00)
Pet crates are preferred.
