Located in the heart of Gazi, the ‘’Soho’’ of Athens, just 3 minutes walk from the Kerameikos Metro station with a direct line to the Airport.
The house is a renovated old Athenian house (1st floor) with a private yard on the ground. It has a big open space living/ dining room and kitchen, one bathroom with shower (no bathtub) and 2 bedrooms. The private room offered is very small; it has a single bed (115cm), a small desk and a place to hang clothes; it also has a ceiling fan.
What is unique with the house, is the yard, where you can relax and really feel at home.
The house is built on a pedestrian street in a neighborhood which is quite and very easy going during daytime; yet when the night falls it can be crowded and sleepless, especially on weekends; the area is full of cafes, bars, restaurants and home to concerts and festivals.
Monastiraki (where the flea market is) is 15’ walk and just one stop by Metro. Plaka and Acropolis is also on a walking distance, almost 20’ walk through pedestrian streets and a small park passing by the Kerameikos ancient cemetery.
The house is fully equipped and the guest will have clean towels and linen during the whole stay. As there is a washing machine, this is also available for use.
Viki was an amazing hostess! We had great discussions, ate together, and I even popped into the ceramics studio for awhile. Her dog is a darling as well and very welcoming :) the listing was exactly as pictured and the neighborhood is quite nice. Near the touristy sites but far enough for a change of scenery. Definitely worth the stay
Viki is a great host! Staying with her was my first Airbnb experience and it could not have been better - she immediately made me feel welcome. And even though we could not spend much time together we had some really good discussions. Her positive spirit and lifestyle are very encouraging. Would love to go back to Athens and spend some more time at Viki's place some day.
Viki is a very nice person. The apartment is great and the neighborhood too. It's easy to access from the airport and next to so many things. I hope return as soon as possible. It was amazing.
Thank you so much, Viki !
Splendid days in Athens. My stay at Viki's house was memorable. She's an amazing host, incredibly kind and helpful. We spent some time together, it was a simple, huge pleasure. Without forgetting Marisa, her adorable dog. Thank you do much for everything Viki
What a WONDERFUL week in Athens!! Viki's apartment is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures – so colorful, spacious, clean and nice. But what's even better is the atmosphere Viki fills her home with. She's a great host with a warm, welcoming and very relaxed approach to life and she made staying with her very easy and convenient. Viki gave me great tipps where to go and what to do and also invited me to join her and her friends for ceramics class in her own little studio downstairs. If you have the chance to join her as well – do so! Ceramics is lots of fun and so are Viki and her friends :) The apartment is a perfect base to start exploring Athens, only a few minutes from the metro (to the airport) and just a nice, little walk away from the city center. The icing on the cake was Viki's sweet dog Marisa, who I fell in love with right away. Viki, I hope we'll meet again soon and have another raki or two together ;) Cheers!
Viki is a great host and has a really neat home in a fun neighbourhood. She made me feel increadibly welcome and genuinely loves people.
I especially enjoyed hanging out with her friends in their ceramic studio and meeting new people. Very special. Thank you Viki.
Viki was a wonderful host and Marisa is the most calm and sweet dog I've ever met in my life. Location is great and the room was small but comfortable. Viki kindly let me use her washer which was a huge help. She also gave me tips on places to check out and gave walking directions. Oh, if you have a chance to take Viki's ceramics class, go for it! I had a lot of fun and Viki is very knowledgeable on ceramics. Thank you Viki! :)

I am a city person although I enjoy taking time away and traveling. I love discovering people, flavours, places, and activities. I do ceramics and screenwriting, I practice yoga and also a bit of climbing and beach volley.
I really enjoy hosting travellers!
