The whole trip was really great. We used the hot tub every night, and the location felt very private. The river was beautiful. I'd recommend staying here for anyone who wants a secluded get away.

Nice private cabin on the river. Host had everything ready and check in and out was easy.

It was a great experience. The house was very secluded so that my friends and I can enjoy our time in the wood. The river outside the house was so beautiful. The only thing that we were not expected was that there was no wifi and no signal inside the house. But it was also a good thing because we actually have the time to play board game and have fun! And I would recommend to buy some groceries at the nearest Walmart because the ride to the nearest restaurant would take 20 mins due to the road condition. Cooking own food with friends was also full of fun!

I rented this cabin with my husband and two kids (ages 4 and 6). I honestly think they liked the cabin better than the national park. They loved splashing around in the river and learning to play pool. It was very clean and we made full use of the hot tub. My only warning is that it is very secluded. It takes 20-30 minutes to get anywhere so make sure you stock up on coffee before you come (and liquor- my husband loves gin and tonics and Sevierville is dry). we loved the fact that it was so secluded, though, and will definitely be back.

The cabin was a great place to get away from it all! Caught a 22" Rainbow Trout right from the concrete landing they have poured at the river for easy access. Clean, private, as advertised. Notes: they supplied 1.5 roll of toilet paper and 2 trash bags, so stock up before going out there.. Also, for those hoping to be truly isolated, this cabin is across the river from a main road feeding into the national park - so you will start to hear cars zipping by early in the morning into early evening. And finally, it is a small thing ,but we had a group of 6 and the centrally located single bathroom, right next to the kitchen and bedroom and living room, had no vent fan, or window, so you can deduce the repercussions.. Other than those things it was great. And I didn't think the beds were as bad as reviewed either. I slept great with the door open and the sound of the river in the background.

One of my favorite destinations is the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. The Appalachian Trail is an awesome way to see it, but I love to travel by car so I can be more spontaneous, stopping at colorful roadside attractions, or discover an amazing natural site, maybe a hidden waterfall or wildlife.
