Very charming little place in a small alley in the middle of a medieval village! Very suitable for a couple. The modern living room/kitchen is on the top floor while the bedroom and a nice bathroom with a good shower and a washing machine are located on the lower floor. There is a small but very atmospheric balcony with good views to the alley and the village where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. There is no TV but the WiFi works just fine. The place lies very convenient between the mountains and the beaches, everything can be reached within almost a half an hour drive. Very friendly neighbourhood! The bakery is just a nice few minutes walk away and a large supermarket a few minutes drive to the next small town (Ille-sur-Tet). You can buy delicious olive oil directly from a local producer in the village and the nice lady tells you all about her olive trees and how the oil is being made. You can even take a walk in her olive garden right next to the village and get great views from the village! The village is also surrounded by many more orchards (peaches, nectarines, apricots, pomegranate, nuts, figs etc.) and you can buy fresh local fruit everywhere directly from the farmers. Matt is a really nice and caring host who speaks really good English and if he is not around, surely one of his brothers will help you out in no time.
