Our home is a great spot to stay for the HD 110th Anniversary Party. Enjoy our entire upper level apartment which includes 2BD, 1Bath, Garage Space for up to 4 bikes, porch w. grill, awesome, trendy, SAFE neighborhood, dog friendly and a short cruise to the party.
Our space has everything you need. A nice kitchen with all kitchen equipment and amenities for those who love to cook. A pantry and large fridge. Grill on the porch with outdoor seating. A comfortable living room with plenty of space to relax. Large screen TV with PS3 and surround sound. Record player, mp3 or laptop plug in, free fast speed Wi-Fi. Small office space with printer to print tickets etc. Central Air. Private Access from front of house. One car garage that can comfortably house up to 4 bikes. Guests will have access to the entire upper unit and our side of garage. You will have a key to the front, private entrance and key for garage to keep your bikes safe in the evening (though the only real danger on the streets at night is being slapped with a parking ticket) There is free night parking on street (must call in vehicle and follow opposite side parking rules). Access to full kitchen and grill on porch.
I will greet guests upon arrival and be only minutes down the road if you were to need any additional help.
You will be in the neighborhood of Bay View. This is the south side of milwaukee proper. The Harley Davidson Museum and Party Grounds are just a short, scenic 5 mile cruise to the festivities. Also, you are a short walk to the beautiful Humbolt Park, a great place to walk your dog, enjoy the weather, have a picnic, go fishing or enjoy a concert in the park on Tuesday nights. The lake is only 1 mile east with access to a beach for swimming and relaxing. The neighborhood is an up and coming part of the city (some say its where the hipsters come to die, meaning its family friendly, it knows good food and drink and still likes to have fun). There are so many great places to eat, (you are in the hispanic park of town so if its Mexican food you like its mexican food we definitely got), coffe shops (Altera Coffee Roasters, our hometown proud award winning coffee) trendy/towny/biker bars (whatever you are into), cute shops, boutiques, record stores, antiques and retro shops. Everything in Bay View is within walking distance.
There is so much to do in the area from Brewer's Baseball games, brewery tours, food tours, boat tours, events and festival. If you want any advise I what to see and do I would love to give you some ideas.
